Looks like season will be open for at least 5 days before the new patch comes out if they stick to releasing the patch on Tues. No patch today.

The patch will be available at last minute most likely before S5 start.
Blizz would never start a season with a major patch do out a week or two later...that is sheer stupidity.
At the very worst as One of the Blizz Blues noted regarding the quiet of Blizz posts lately that "technology is a fickle mistress"; I would say something between minor and semi major happened at Blizz D3 headquarters to screw the pooch! and that season could be moved forward a week for the patch to be available.
But I doubt this very much ^^
