I also owned a lifetime key, not salty about losing it due to changes they needed to make. The shit I hate about this is now everytime I go to buy a key it's always some drama. Despite having used the same IP (my ISP not a VPN or proxy), but using a different email to buy a new honorbuddy key (keep in mind I have an active hearthbudy key at this time) my order was put on a manual hold. Sent in a support ticket got a reply of, "Please don't use a VPN or proxy" I send them a screenshot of an iplookup for my IP being a valid ISP in the midwest with no vpn/proxy and the response was that they decided to cancel the order and I was told to try paypal instead. All it would have taken is some common sense to look it up and see if it was actually a VPN/proxy use but this automated payment system review is garbage.
That being said, all the support on the actual program issues is great. I just hope billing gets better. I'm sure a lot of this has changed over the years due to chargebacks and scammers but as someone that once had that lifetime key, has paid for additional subs, uses hearthbuddy as well it just sucks that there's this much hassle to continue to support HB.
