Wow has been pissing me the F off for the past few weeks. At this rate no joke I sincerely think we won't have a non tripwire honor buddy for another 3-4 weeks.

Interesting trend, if bliz continues this trend of patching it could keep the bots down pretty much indefinitely so they run out of money and fold. Smart of them to hit them in the $$ instead of trying to beat their technology. I still have high hope for Buddy to make a comeback!

It's very possible for the team to make Honorbuddy automatically update itself to the new offsets, it's actually not hard to do.
That way there would be no downtime at all, and the bot would always work between patches.
The only reason why it doesn't at the moment is because they are concerned over security issues.
In some cases the bot cannot automatically detect security issues, which is why they must manually take the time to do so.

The majority of the offsets are most likely done automatically. If you think just updating offsets is the majority of the downtime cause then you don't know much about development.
Well, I actually do know a lot about the development considering I work with the staff.
And like I already said, a majority of the downtime is making sure the bot is safe.
I didn't say that the offsets were the cause of the downtime nor did I say it was the majority.
As I mentioned, this step is easily automated. So it doesn't make sense at all as to why you repeated what I said and are trying to use it as a point.
If safety wasn't a concern, then the offsets would be the only thing preventing the bot from actually working on the next hotfix.
If the automation that the staff uses for offsets was actually added into the bot, then it would always work for each hotfix - no downtime required. Repeating exactly what I said in my first post.
Anything else would be just testing the bot to make sure all the API works - which that is done by the community developers and legendary users since it is practically impossible for the staff to test it all.
The bot is up at this point for really anyone to use so I wouldn't consider it 'down' at this point.

Then answer me this azhemoth Why doesnt HB communicate with us about it why are they hiding behind there cyber wall and still continuing to hit us with charges when they dont offer a reliable bot. I have made post after post which only gets shut down in a few days asking why there isnt a update or some sort of post about why its taking so long. Im not dumb i know blizz is hitting us with massive patches to keep bot's of all kinds from working even though it takes hours for the cr bots to be fixed but HB is taking weeks. Like i said i have my beliefs and i think somone is milking people out of our money but i wont say who to keep my profile from being banned again.
Your posts get shut down because it clearly says on the announcement thread not to make threads asking about the status or else they will get closed.
It also says updates are made when major milestones are reached because they would prefer if Blizzard didn't know every step in their development process - not to mention it's illegal for them to mention that they are doing anything that directly impacts the game client itself.
You should actually read the announcement posts which already answers your questions.
Also, don't bring up the "CR bots are faster to update" nonsense.
Honorbuddy is a much more massive bot that requires a LOT more investigation when it comes to patches to make sure the safety of the bot is not at risk.
Simple CR bots only cover a very small range of risk factors whereas Honorbuddy covers a lot more.
A lot of these other companies don't even bother looking for detection - they just do the auto-offset updating stuff I mentioned earlier.
If you turn off your tripwire and bot now, then you would be at the same risk of getting banned as you would be using the other bots on the market.
They lose money when they don't update the bot fast enough because they give us time back to our keys to make up for the time the bot was down.
So you thinking they are milking money by not updating the bot is also nonsense.

Ok smart guy if hb is always focusing on bot protection then tell me why we have been subject to account and bnet wide bann waves even on accounts that dont connect to the bot. You see i dont defend a company who literally ignores all their customers. And i dont exactly ask why there is no update i post my disappointment for how every situation is handled. Lack of communication is maybe the biggest thing hb has failed to do over the years and ive been botting since 2011. So dont lecture me about why my post are getting closed i know that anything that is said bad about the bot will get shut down and hence why ive lost 3 accounts here since 2011. and i know cr bots are small but get the facts straight they have the ability to use a program that updates the bot faster and then going in at a later point and making sure it stays protected even thought we all know tripwire and other abilites wont ever help again unless they are willing to find a way for blizz to stop scanning and finding this program on everyone's pc but that requires money they dont have and blizz has way more money and resources. I dont think like paying for a fully functioning bot that doesn't work right and we all know why blizz is doing a few hotfixes since patch. blizz has done thins in the past to stop other bot companies its all over threads and post done on blizz's forums they do it to screw with bot makes to try to disrupt there services so the bot stays down for long periods of time. so do some research before defending a company that honestly doesnt care that much.

They're furthering their efforts in security because of the recent banwaves.
You want more communication? Then go to the Discord server.
There's literately staff active in there chatting with the community 24/7.
Actually, there's plenty of vocal threads against the bot that hasn't got shut down.
Wanna know why? Because they follow the rules.
The threads that have got shut down that were against the bot was because the thread ends up being an nonsensical argument over arbitrary things which broke the forum rules just as this one here is turning into.
You do realize that's exactly what Honorbuddy started doing right?
They started this 'tripwire disabled' version for the very sake of this where they are releasing an 'unsafe' version of the bot and are looking further into security concerns later down the road.
No. This is complete nonsense.
They are doing these hotfixes because 7.2 was a complete disaster. They rushed the patch and the result was a completely broken game. Anyone who actually plays the game will agree on that.
All these hotfixes are to clean up their mistakes from the 7.2 patch. This has happened before during Burning Crusade when they rushed patch 2.4.3
Also, hotfix patches are optional - most botters have it set so their Blizzard app doesn't update. You can go into the options and turn auto-updating off.
Just as the two threads above the one I'm making here, the guy is asking about using an un-updated version of the game and even you responded on how to do so.
