I have not been banned (yet) and I'm a first time botter. I have not done anything over the top, a couple hours inside my own city and the neighboring one in my home country. It's been maybe a week and I already got this warning when I logged in on my phone to play legitimately for a couple of hours. The bot seems easily detectable.

Edit: I was shadowbanned a few days later despite only playing legitimately after the warning. The ban was finally lifted today, 13 days later.

Make sure you are turning GPS off on your laptop/pc this can be done easily on windows 10 for windows 7 and 8 read up here: https://www.google.no/amp/www.compu...-3068708-3022345-3075249-and-3080149.amp.html

We find alot of people are getting hit for not checking on things like this, I hope this helps.

Hey CAcove. I had already turned off my PC's GPS before purchasing the bot for another reason and it is still off after a quick double check. Something else is going on here.

It seems Niantic can see how you login in and also on what kind of device and therefor these warnings.

Update. I have now been shadowbanned (despite only playing legitimately ever since the first warning) and half my caught Pokemon were slashed.

me too,using pokefamer API 0.69.0,my 5 account have been shadow banned since one week ago. I used one account for test, keeping pokefarmer bot one day after the shadow ban warning ,so the account was permanently banned.

Right now we have been working with Bolan on some safe settings until PF 2.0 is ready, I suggest trying his methods as it has worked for alot of people (not everyone, but alot).
