I have taken the three day trial of the TankLeader bot and I have mixed views, with my opinion being somewhat negative. I am a big user of Honorbuddy for WoW and use the new version of Hearthbuddy. In HB's case there is a very strong development team and community and this is obviously lacking with regards to TankLeader. It is likely a supply and demand issue, but I think this could be addressed by a little cross-pollination of skills. It was the situationin Hearthbuddy's case where they took the skills and lessons from Exilebuddy and brought those into the new version of Hearthbuddy.
I also notice that the bot requires a Premium account which means I have to pay money to WOT to use a bot, which seems rather counter-intuitive. The bot should simply grind out silver and act more aggressively, i.e. options to rush enemy base, act as a sniper at choke points, or spearhead an attack. The maps are pretty sandboxed and limited. For instance, in WoW's case there is an open world with thousands of routes possible plus the added factor of being able to fly in many. In WOT, there are limited areas a tank could operate in, and obvious sniping positions and choke points for each map.
Can the dev's respond with some sort of ETA on a major update to this bot? Is this in fact a dead project that will be kept alive only in as much as 'keeping the lights on' or maintaining the current levels of functionality? If the latter is the case I cannot see me investing anymore money into this bot.
Many thanks in advance.
