New user here gettting This profile does not contain any profiles fitting the char

Hi all. I've tried to do some research on this before I posted but i can't find the answer I need. This is only my 2nd day with this. There are profiles that work well, like twilight highlands,uldum, hellfire. But when I try to load others like Borean Tundra, and some vanilla places like STV and hillsbrad, I keep getting
This profile does not contain any profiles fitting the character!
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

I have tried it on 4 different characters.

open the profile with a text editor(notepad)

and change the max char lvl

Thanks for the reply. i will try that on my Dk who is 85. The profile says 80. However my shaman is 74 and it was not working on him either. Any other suggestions for that?

if the profile have got a sub-profile you have to change the value on sub-profile as well

how do i know if it has a sub profile? I use notepad to open it up. Would the profile and the sub profile all be in there?

This might be wrong but can you use normal GB profile in HB? Think your trying to load GB profiles in HB2 wich you can't only the new profiles can be used in HB2.

You cannot use GB1 profiles in HB2 w/o having lifetime and using GB2 botbase for HB2

If you're trying to farm, you'll have to use a ground mount and HB2 farming profiles, or get lifetime and use GB2 with HB2 ... or use GB1 for flying (if you want to fly in HB2 and have HB2's combat system, just get lifetime - it's easier that way).
