-removed all visual C++ installations
-removed previous HB version
-downloaded fresh install
-installed what was suggested (the x86 one)
-problem persists.
So, because it worked for you, don't assume it worked for everyone. In my case it didn't

Currently my client just starts and the just quits on its own volition.
