New to honorbuddy

Hey! I have two 80s with good gear. But now before Cataclysm i wanna get a hunter to 80. So i was thinking if i could use leveling items and level a Hunter to 80 fast with honorbuddy.

I wonder. In scale 1-10 how big is the chanse that i will get perm bann?

Bots tend to have a learning curve, the more experienced you are, the far less likely you'll be banned.

As a new botter, if you take the time to learn the bot and appropriately set up features, you have an extremely low (2) chance of being banned.

Blizzard focuses most of their attention towards gold farmers. Those using it to level their characters on a single account are quite safe, and the majority of the time if caught, only receive a suspension.

No one can really answer that question apart from blizzard its like asking how long is a piece of string. But what i would say to lower your risk of being caught is create your own profiles as it will be more unique if you can.
If not dont spend 24/7 on the bot otherwise chances of getting caught are increased, just use common knowledge. Sorry i couldn't answer the question but it really is a question noone but blizz can answer.

Okey, I tryed it on a trail account a few days now and i think i know how it works now. I also downloaded a good leveling profile.

Also if you say that i will probebly only get a suspension for like 72hours ( max ) ? Then i can take that.

I will not use the bot 24/7, i will use it when im home or maybe when im going to market or something.

Also im abit affraid of "warden".. If warden detects you, will you get disconnected directly or will blizzard just let me keep playing and they see that my account is flagged so it will take some time before i get banned?

As far as i know HB isn't detected by Warden and HB has a security measure that when something changes on Warden the bot won't start untill Bossland (Admin) says its safe again

Are you sure about this? What about this new patch that came today?

If there was a change in Warden, the Dev team normally takes HB/GB offline. As for the patch they seem to be preparing for the expac, but don't quote me on it I haven't searched yet. Apoc mentioned the other day it was video's or something in irc chat.

As for bot, it's never safe, but then again neither is going outside and getting in a car

Yes, atleast thats what i believe. I think most bans are from player reports, so if you don't over use it and make sure you use good profiles wich don't get stuck its all fine.

I leveled them all with a bot. But only my Priest and DK with HB. The others I used Glider, OB, etc. No, I've never been banned or suspended.

Should be no problem, I say go for it. Bad timing with the cta so soon though, you should be able to catch next weeks for the last 10 or so levels if you're not 80 by then though

Warden update's all the time, The only thing that keep's us safe is the tripwire, if warden update's and catches a code HB is using injecting into the client mostly everyone that is using HB/GB at that time will most probaly gett banned but people that try's logging into HB/GB wont cause the tripwire will shut down the Auth server's untill the dev's look into it and change there code.
