Hello,

A veteran player here and I have been having this new idea I would like to do. I have never botted before but I always wanted to since I want a lot of gold.

Do you guys think if I buy a new (1 account only) and bot. Will I be able to get like 500k in a month maybe? I know it's a really stupid question but I want gold for personal uses (not for $$) and if the account lasts the whole month. Will I be able to make that amount or more? Just want to know if it's worth it for me or not.

I don't really have hope in getting any solid answer here since I know how people usually reply but helpful answers would be greatly appreciated !

Thank you !

Even if I use a VPN? Or even better, a different laptop from my PC? (would be a bit tough since the laptop is kinda shit)

if you link your botting account with your main account in anyway same pc, same ip, swapping gold, playing in group, raf you are risking your main account it will get banned eventually

With the exception of "swapping gold" the rest of that from what history tells Us is not true at all..

I've been botting since glider days, including pvp tool - some times botting upwards of 15 bots from one PC, I don't do anything special at all with vpns or vms.. NEVER has my main account that I play by hand been banned..

HB detection by blizzards is done during some time from HB attaching it's self to the wow process and/or reading and writing into wows memory process NOT by process detection which you implying.

We know this because multiple HB users that have had active non botting accounts active during the ban waves never lost there accounts.. If it was process detection then our not botting accounts would have been banned too, for simply having HB open whilst wow was running..

The exception of gold and items trading, there is evidence that trading gold or goods to a non botting account in extreme cases can result in both accounts getting banned

Well, I was planning on making a whole new account (not the same Bnet) and after making gold. I transfer it with buying high priced items posted by my main account. Which was said to be the safest way.

umm so far your answers are pretty conflicting but I lean with @thecamel. Thanks for the replies though ! I will still wait for more replies and decide by then =)

You can do that Mesho as long as the high price items are high priced like Mounts and Xmog items... At least that's what I do.
