New to HB! What are meshes?

Hi guys! I just bought GB and I love it!
So I decided to give HB a try since I wanted a Shaman so badly!

I am using the trial but I think I will buy it.
I followed the tutorials and did everything it told. But what I don't understand is, what are meshes? Some download profiles have XML and mesh files, but some don't. I know the bot can't work without a profile, but what does the mesh do? And why do I need to create a folder for it?

Other than that, the program is amazing!
 
The mesh is akin to a grid that maps out the land features of the land around you, its what HB uses to plot its course throughout the game world. Prior to the more recent versions, players had to record their own meshes for each profile, whereas the more recent versions will automatically download the required meshes from our repository that covers the entire game world.

So If I use one of the new XML files, then I don't need to profile a mesh file right?

Also, what is HB2 that I've seen people talking about all the time. I downloaded the 1.9.x.x one, is that the latest one to have?
 
The 'xml' as you call it; is the skatepark rules btw. Nothing more, nothing less.

its the map that separates the pixels to and from a location in a 3d gaming map like a wire mesh on a first person shooter but with wow, it takes map's distance and calculates things like: trees, cliffs, and hb's code tells it to avoid this xyz or die.

So if I download that 1-60 Horde xml by Bliiik. Then I'm good to go right?
 
um if your horde yeah and i also recommend a CC or (Custom Classes) for your class you intend to bot
 
I don't get what is HB2. Is that the version I'm running? The 1.9.2.3 one?
What is CC? Do I just load the Shaman one if I want to bot a Shaman?
 
HB2 generally refers to the "new" version of the bot. It includes the new nav system (no user meshes) amongst other things. The actual HB2 is still in beta, but the current stable release 1.9.whatever is technically HB2 in the sense that it uses some of the new features.

CC stands for combat class. It's basically a file with rules telling your character how to act in combat and such. The bot comes with a default CC for each class, but some users have made specialized CCs that are more efficient than the default ones.
