New to HB - Initial Thoughts.

Hi All,

I'm pretty new to botting in general, and i'd just like to share my thoughts on HB in general.

What a bloody fantastic product this is!

I've been using it for around 2 weeks and HB has been brilliant. Ive been using 1.9.2.5 (the non questing one) on both a Shaman (using ShamWow) and a DK (using Cimmeran) and my progress has been amazing

I'd originally quested the Shammy to 35 and thought i'd see how far I could go botting. I went from 35 - 51 in less than a week (botting at work so I could keep an eye on it - mabey 6 hours a day), then AV weekend hit and I shot up to 60 in less than a day! I'm now questing in Outland manually until the new version is up

Over the AV weekend, I also botted the DK to get some more of my PVP epics, nearly done a full set now

I've dabbled with the questing beta but it's a little inconsistant for my liking, but i'll follow the project and give it a go when a new version comes out.

For the future, I'm gonna bot the Shammy upto 80 and kit out a full set of PVP, then mabey bot a Warlock I'd also like to try my hand at my own profiles, but thats a project for another day.

Glad you like HB, and in the (near) future, the questing will hopefully become a main reason people come here. Just wait until you get to level 80, and bot with Gatherbuddy! You will fall in love with this bot all over again! Perhaps by that time though, Gatherbuddy will just be an plug-in for Honorbuddy. Good luck with botting, and I hope no ill-fate comes your way *knock on wood*.

Thanks for the welcome Namaze, I've been playing WoW off an on since open beta, and have fallen in and out of love with the game more time than I can recall (I tend to play solidly for 3 months, then have a 6 month hiatus!).

My outlook is quite pragmatic, i have a L80 DK that i'm not that attached to, if I bot and get caught, then so be it, i'll just grab another account and bot to 80, i'm only really interested in the endgame (i've leveled characters the hard way, so i'm not missing out). PVPFTW

I'd have to agree, it's pretty amazing. Better than glider was, better than ppather was.

It is fantastic, the fact it's all so automated is just what you want from something like this. Rather than having to do all kinds of complicated set-ups like some other ones. Very good stuff.

I remember glider from back in the day.. on my first server I had a 60 warrior that I used to grind fellcloth with in azshara, every time I tried to get going there would always be a pally grinding, and I mean always.. lol.. used to refer to him as a "chinese gold farmer".
