New to botting

Hello everyone,

Iam new to botting and i will start in some days with it. So i got couple of questions: Is there any script sub-forum where i have to download all the scripts?
Do i have to play the game itself or can i just go afk?
Can i switch between windows or do i have to stay in the game?
Is there any banrate or can i run it like 8-12 hours per day?
How long do you think will it take to gear up my monk well?

There is a subforum here. I suggest the community pack and RiftBot.
Some profiles are better for AFK than others. Generally it's 95% afk.
You can switch windows, the bot will play in the background. [i have mine out of focus on another monitor with skype and the bot window]
I run my bot attended about 8 hours a day. There is generally no bans. Some people run 24/7 for years without being banned.
Probably like two days. Monks are still weak until 2.1, though.

1. Sub-forums, there are plenty, just check for the DB "profiles" = Scripts.
2. You don't have to do anything except check on the bot "time after time" gotta remember it is a bot that is pumping out hundreds of commands, many problems can happen but mostly won't I'v afk'd many many of times.
3. Duel monitors, is the best setup have ur bot and diablo in a separate window, will not disturb them, only problem i'v had is when going to screen resolution, and hitting "show only display 1" it will cause the D3D to crash on diablo, but you can download a program called R-YAR, that will relog you into DB and Diablo again if they crash *Highly recommended*
4. banrate, problem with that is no one is 100% sure on how you get banned, but yes you are risking a ban by using the bot... but I'v seen nearly tons of people go 6+ months with no problems, you'll have to investigate the ban section
5. After reaching level 70, and if you monk can do t1 solo rift/bounty etc, you should be able to gear up rather quickly just depends on the bot you want to use, study up alot! * I use the bot for 16 hours a day easily*
