Hi all.

I don't want to burden you with a lot of questions. I would like some help though with any useful links you can give me to learn how to set up a (hopefully) successful hardcore monk bot.

My main goal is just item farming, but don't mind the exp and gold that comes with it.

Being hardcore, I just obviously don't want to die. Would like to farm inferno act 1 on mp1 preferrably, but can negotiate.

What are the main things I would need gear wise? and stats wise?

Thorns/LOH/LOK/life leech/high ehp?

If anyone can send some links pointing in the right direction that would be most appreciated.

Cheers!

id like to bot hc but havent tried it yet

I guess you'd want very high ehp and probably some crazy loh. Assuming that you wouldnt be doing that much damage you'd want loh over ls. Ls is better for higher dps imo.

could be wrong.

would lke to see someone post about their botting hc experience

Probably high life regen too.

Pretty much as long as I won't die, I'm not worried about having the best drops/gold per hour...

Thinking high thorns in case something goes haywire... I obviously wouldn't leave it alone until completely comfortable.

Basically, it's just not worth it, but you're welcome to try for yourself. I've killed off a ton of toons playing HC manually, and a bot is going to be worse than a human. If you bot HC, expect to lose them to something eventually. It's like botting in general: getting banned will happen eventually. Botting HC at any reasonable difficulty means you will eventually have a dead character.

If you still want to try:

Bot in SC until you get a working gear set/stats, skills build, bot configuration and profile that you do not die running for a week straight. HC gear is 2-4 times the price of the same gear in SC (or more). HC gold is worth 6 times what SC gold is worth (at least in the US). So, it's not going to be cheap to gear an HC character vs. an SC character. No matter how well you gear and spec your bot, even if it can survive for the 10-second disconnects standing in fire/arcane, there are things outside your control that can kill your HC toon (like bot crashes and stuck bots.) If you watch SC bots running long enough, you will see all the things that will kill an HC bot off easily.

As far as I know, no one's really posted anything reasonable for botting HC here. Or those who have posted have come back and reported dead bots.

Best of luck.

i heard a guy that died with 6k life regen, but he was on act 3 mp 0, my advice dont do it, and if you do, dont do act 3.

best of luck

The problem is the very random/rare stucks that occur. I've tried botting HC with a high life regen barb a few times and they all failed because they would randomly go full retard.

Sarah - Community - Diablo III

that's one of mine (banned so don't mind sharing). After this one got banned, I tried once more and the new barb was even better than this one and that one still died :<

Thanks for the input... guess I'll keep grinding for now

Don't experiment with HC, especially on inferno, there is a very high chance to loose your HC character.

This, I've tried it and ended up losing more than I had gained :(.

Botting in hardcore can only be like nightmare dh gold botting.

I bot inferno act 3 mp0 with my monk and no dying, you just need to know what stats you need to achieve

i dont want jinx or anything, but i heard that more than twice =/

I'm curious, how many bots do you run, or just the one? Have you had a death yet on other bots? 24/7? What paragon have you reached and how long have you been running? What's your gph, xp per hour, and legends per hour?

what about making a good follower that 1 shots elites on mp 0 act3
hmm or maybe a beastly wd that pets one shot stuff...
still if he dc on arcane ball or fire pool dont know if he will survive even with passive...

I had tried HC botting, 3 months ago
but, conclusion... the pumpkin head of bot must go to kill your character...
I lost my character at level 45, 68, 73 etc
In inferno, the damage is very high although mp0, unlucky dying is possible like as arcane.
most proper difficulty is Hell mp0 for level up
