So patch 2.0.1 is upon us - with it a huge number of changes to how we play our favorite classes. The old faithful WW Barbarian is gone, CM/WW Wizards gone, and all other classes have been significantly re-worked.

A major part of Trinity is having the combat logic designed to not only provide basic support for "any" build, but also being really good at a few, highly efficient builds for each class.

With this in mind, I'd like to know what you've been playing already with this latest patch. Using the new Whirwind + Hurricane? Found Exploding Palm seems to be OP now? I'd like to know those really good builds, so we can make the bot support them.

Obviously at this time Crusader is not playable, please refrain from posting builds with those (unless you had the Beta and feel confident about it ...)

Title
Link to build: Barbarian - Game Guide - Diablo III
How to Play it, Description, explanation, reasoning, required equipment, etc. (optional)

Example:
The new Weapon Throw / Spear Combo
Barbarian - Game Guide - Diablo III
Example build to test new skills mechanisms. Weapon throw no longer costs fury, but generates 8 fury per throw. Ancient Spear no longer generates fury, but now costs 25 fury.
How to play: Weapon Throw at distance to 25 fury (4 throws) at <= 35 yards, ancient spear to pull in the first victim into WW range, Sprint & WW:Hurrican to pull in the crowd. Use with minimum 3 monsters in 35 yards of hero.

FIRST BUILD
Build on T4 / T5 - Fire Monk
Link : Monk - Game Guide - Diablo III

Required equipment:
Andariels Visage 2.0 (+ fire skill dmg) Andariel's Visage - Game Guide - Diablo III
Maximus 2.0 Maximus - Game Guide - Diablo III
Magefist 2.0 Magefist - Game Guide - Diablo III

To play: Maximus has a chance to summon demon, the demon and you will create a fire chain, which ticks 700k-1mil damage on t4. With that, you need to use dashing strike to position yourself with the fire chain while maintaining sweeping wind firestorm. CS: Implosion is used to suck in all the enemies around you, while MoC: dishearten slows them down 80% so they cant move at all while the fire chain and your mangle / firestorm sweeps them down. If you do encounter an elite pack, use IS: Forbidden Palace, for 55% DR and 30% increased dmg.

I have no idea and am a complete fool when it comes to scripting and programming, I'm not sure if this is hard to do due to positioning.

SECOND BUILD
Built for running normal, legendary farming if you want to take a break from Torment
Link: Monk - Game Guide - Diablo III
Paragon points: Resource cost, movement speed, then the rest your choice

Required Equipment:
Nothing in particular, preferably anything cap your movement speed

To play: pretty self explanatory. Farming normal is all about efficiency, speed, mobs/hr and chests/hr. You would want to maintain inner storm while using TR and just rushing everywhere. If you happen to run into empty spaces and you are about to run out of spirit, activate Air Ally to add another 100 spirit. I usually do this in A3 so mob density usually isnt a problem. Also, remember to use dashing strike, the rune "way of the falling star" speed bonus will be added to your TR speed indefinitely after using it right after DS. Yes, Indefinitely. Other than that, not much else!

Thank you to all the developers and script writers! can't wait for the new release of DB

DH cold + elemental arrow damage build
Talent Build

its my current build and i must say my dh has much lower dps gear than my monk + barb but he can farm alot faster and way better .

Demon Hunter build - Impale + entangling shot

Taking advantage of the massive damage boost impale received. It's got lots of hatred regen so that was the big thing, but this seems to work nicely.
One thing I would really like to see is the ability to utilize both primary attacking skills effectively. I noticed pre-patch it would always just choose one or the other and ignore one. But with this build, it's crucial for the hatred regen to use entangling shot, otherwise the impale is useless and will never have hatred to use.

Here's a Wizard build I've been running (granted, I've only been running it in Torment 1) with relatively basic gear. I was running it prior to picking up the gear I am currently wearing and am always looking for more loot to make it more efficient/powerful.

The Power of Cold
Build Clicky

I'm still tweaking this while I play (especially the runes for Magic Weapon/Energy Armor and the Passive Skill slots, along with the First Action slot [currently it's Blizzard but I haven't been using it too much.])

The whole idea is to just be able to spam Frozen Orb and let the crit damage do it's work. My highest crit, personally with very very basic gear, is between 600-750k normally hovering around the 350-450k range. Magic Missile with Glacial Spike is nice for the freezing effect buying you a few seconds every now and again to run/spam more magic missile without harm/get in a few more free shots.

+ Crit chance, + Crit Damage, and bonuses that boost Arcane Orb/Cold damage are stuff to be on the lookout for in terms of gear. Arcane Power Regen is also nice to have. The more you can spam Arcane Orb without worrying about spamming Glacial Spike is the faster stuff will go down.

Very basic build, for starting out in Torment at least. Hopefully I'll be able to get better gear to test out the viability of the build in the higher tiers of Torment, though the one or two times I jumped into a full group on T4 (with other similarly-geared characters) it did well enough - just didn't have the survivability that comes with better/gemmed gear.

I am using ubernoob's build, well a variation of it
Wizard - Game Guide - Diablo III
And to be honest torment 3 is a piece of cake everything melts, mobs are like 1-2 hits.
I have a wizard with around 200k dps unbuffed. Most of the wizards use a similar build but tend to add archon-improved arcon instead of blizzard for great burst when facing elites.

Frozen Orb and Archon Wizard (With high APOC and high crit, as well as a high AP pool)
Link to build: Wizard - Game Guide - Diablo III
Outgearing/Playing on low torment allows you to shoot 1-2 Frozen Orbs and follow that orb to its destination. Any white mobs will be slain by these orbs, so you only stop for the time it takes to cast the orb. Frozen Orb is best used at a medium-far distance, because it explodes at the end. On Elites you either empty your AP pool on Frozen Orbs and they die from that, or you pop your Archon if it is available and zap them down with that. With Electrocute (Forked Lightning) as generator you still have a good aoe damage output at any range and a good single target ability as your AP generator.

Frozen Orb has issues with walling (It doesn't go through it, obviously).
Frozen Orb has medium range, but explodes at max range. It is best used by the orb exploding immediatly behind its target. Assuming the target is walking towards you, you simply try to fire your orb so orb-maxrange is where the target currently stands.
Archon has a long cooldown.
Familiar Icicle stuns a single target regularly and is a great tool for soloplay.
When there's no archon available and the elites didn't die from you emptying your AP pool with frozen orbs, kiting with electrocute/Frozen Orbs is necesary, because of the explossion range of the Orb (Assuming the elites are melee).
This build works with ease for speed-clearing and zero or few deaths in my equipment, with 500k damage and 1000k toughness (60% crit, 20 APoC), on torment 2. Viable, but risking more deaths, up to torment 5.

This is a good build even with lower apoc tho this is a 70 lvl build since u included a skill that's not available yet.
Just a reminder, you should stay away from builds that evolve around having massive amounts of crit and apoc since when ros comes apoc wont roll on a gear and crit will be cut in half.
But still this build is good if u take off the last passive skill.

Smth offtopic, when can we expect a new trinity build rrrix?

Defensive Lightning Build:

This build is set up for torment 2-3 (+ 4 at a push). It aims to make use of good attack speed and our only crowd control (paralysis) by spamming chain electrocute whilst using wave of force as additional damage. Prodigy is also a vital passive as it allows our electrocute spell to regain 5 arcane power upon use every time.

Link to build= Wizard - Game Guide - Diablo III

As for defensive perks, we have prismatic armor that boosts resist all + Dominance and Deflection for shields. In a really bad situation, we spam diamon skin-crystal shell and use wave of force to clear a path so we can escape.

It works well but elites need kiting when using it. No real issues to report. I suggest ensuring you stick with just using electrocute mainly and wave of force if they get too close. Keep your distance with it and CC them with electrocute. In a group of mobs, constantly switch target when using electrocute so the chain lightning gets them all.

Monk Vacuum Bomb

Fists of Thunder - Quickening
Dashing Strike - Quick Silver
Cyclone Strike - Implosion
Exploding Palm - The Flesh Is Weak
Sweeping Wind - Cyclone
Mantra of Evasion - Backlash / Mantra of Retribution - Transgression

One With Everything
Seize The Initiative
??? Your Call, I am using Near Death Experience for those random DPS bursts.

FoT now with its built in TP + 4 Spirit / Crit is amazing for filling up your resource pool quickly for lots of palms then sucking everyone in to blow the hell out of one another just decimated anything on T6 with Palms laid in the right spots of course.

Sweeping Wind is pretty self explanatory, Mantra of Evasion / Retribution basically accomplish the same thing, doing good AoE to everyone your pulling in with Cyclone Strike, Evasion + Backlash if you need more toughness and Retribution + Transgression for more raw DPS. I originally had Retaliation on Mantra of Retribution for the 202% damage to everything but keeping, vacuums and palms up was just too much for how much spirit / second I have, so yay free 10% IAS for more DPS :)

Unfortunately the bot seems just horrible atm with aiming palms, vacuuming at the right times and does not using Dashing Strike at all, so I threw on Serenity..With Dashing Strike though NO ONE seems to be able to keep up with me in co-op, this build relies heavily on Dashing Strike for insane mobility and clearing speeds. Barbs & WD's would consistently show up as everything died and beginning to move on. Wizards and DH's and other Monk's could only seem to keep up when using Vault, Teleport and Dashing Strike.

Please work on Dashing Strike logic / code or w/e you call it haha :)

Cheers guys

WD Kite Build

Priority:
Locust Swarm up at all times
1 Corpse Spider Queen up at all times
3 Spirit Barrages Phantasm's up at all times (also used to slow mobs during kite)
3 Firebomb Pyrogeists up at all times
1 Zombie Dog Leeching Beast
Spirit Walk Honored Guest when mana is low or for escape.

How to play:
Overall you simply need to keep Locust Swarm on all the mobs white kiting things around using the Phantasms to slow the mobs. The Spider Queen does its own thing however sometimes needs to be resummoned on new target if it was to far from the original. Zombie Dog is there to help heal you. This build is pretty easy to play however in the current trinity build it casts the spells in a VERY inefficient way causing it to be a bad build.

tempest rush monk
Monk - Game Guide - Diablo III
revolves around maximus and pants of mr yan
tempest rush to get in the middle of mobs then WOL
use air ally for 100 spirit
can change some skills around if better spirit regeneration gears are available

for those who are recommending wizard builds... how are you getting them to work?

for example, I cant even get the wizard to use arcane orb. It is totally useless
