NEW staff of hearding for season 10

And here we have an updated set of profiles for the staff

These are amended from the original set from https://www.thebuddyforum.com/demon...ther/157973-staff-herding-set-profiles-7.html and fixed to worked in newer db.

You must enable staff items in trinity, items special items...also set cluster to 1 and open containers

While I have updated these, they maybe still rough as im still working on them, but please comments here for these not other staff forum post.
DO NOT use start.xml, please just ignore this for now

I've only done the Staff of Herding plan one so far, but there's a weird issue. A lot of times it will explore every single nook and cranny of Spires level 1, except the one place that the portal to Great Span is. Also, a few times it ports into Great Span and just... sits there. It's not really AFK-able for me at the moment. All of my Adventurer, Trinity, and DB are up to date.

EDIT: I lied. DB wasn't up to date. I just updated it, and it seems to be working better for whatever reason. It still gets a little weird when searching for the Great Span, but not as bad as before I updated.

I have the Staff of Herding and Black Mushroom, but for some reason while looking for the Gibbering Gemstone, the bot will enter Icefall Caverns instead of restarting. If Icefall Cavern is up, then Chilltrax won't be around since it spawns in Caverns of Frost.
 
Can the GibberingGemstone xml be placed into the directory for your other awesome rainbow goblin profile directory? Frost Cave is very similar to Moon Cave in that gobs can frequently spawn on both level 1 and level 2. Would be awesome to explore the Dale if any rainbow gobs were found!

Some more notes from what I've seen running it. The Leoric's Manor one was funky, it would just go back and forth checking the fireplace without restarting the game. It did it at least 10 times before I ended up just manually restarting the game every time it checked. No biggie since it only took 10 minutes to get it.

I'm still having another issue with Gibbering Gemstone is that it doesn't fully explore the 2nd level of the Caverns of Frost. so it only runs into Chiltra like half the time.

Also noticed this, When and IF Caverns spawn, most times it runs to the exit obelisk and ends, when chiltara is sitting on another branch of the cave.

-Mind you, this is still better then running personally, but maybe just add a full explore tag to level2?
 
Just some feedback:
On Leoric's Manor, I found the same thing as ZenBJR. It would check fireplace, leave room, run back in room, check fireplace, run out of room, run back in room, check fireplace...and on and on before i killed it. I manually ran it to find it since it is quick anyway.
On Frost Cave I watched it kill Chiltara, drop the gibbering gemstone but didn't pick it up. I checked the db log and it said something about my default loot radius was small at 10. so i bumped that up, i assume that would help out in the future anyway.
On Mysterious Cave for the Liquid Rainbow, it was find cave, enter level 1, exit level 1 back to Dhulgar Oasis and attempt to leave game while standing next to that merchant. I watched this happen on 4 straight different game attempts.
Getting the Plan from Izule worked like a charm...no issues there.
Already had mushroom, so didn't try that one.
Prior to running, I updated trinity to 2.42.110 RELEASE.
Hope the feedback helps.
 
It's rather remarkable how low the drop rate is for the Gibbering Gemstone. over 400 runs and no drop. I don't know how people do this without bots.


EDIT: over 1,000 now. Egads. I don't know if the bot is simply not picking the gemstone up, but I've been watching it run whenever i can and have not seen it drop.

mine didn't pick up the gibbering gemstone, i happened to see it drop and it tried to exit. i paused it and manually grabbed it. after that i bumped up the loot radius from 10 to 100 in settings. but since i didn't have to farm it again, dunno if that would help or not.
 
Update to latest trinity svn. Gemstone pickup just got fixed today.
 
Updated to SVN 132 and the bot now picks up Gibbering Gemstone. Thanks!

Same here?? cannot update using SVN getting a request for password?

And bot seems to enter icefall caves instead of exiting the game??

Especialy with something as rare as that gemstone thats a huge wase of time.

My bad re svn, ill sort soon
But svn and forum version are the same atm.
Ill try get some updates sorted, ive been out the loop a few weeks....sry
 
Evilscoop i face 3 issues with your file:

1- the bot explores both ice caves and cavern of frost - it should go to frost only
2- the bot doesn't fully explore level 2 but port to town once it reaches the portal stone. So it misses 50% of the time the purple elite with the gibbering stone
3- you suggest to update SVN but there is a password required... my DB is the latest release version, isn't it supposed to work ?
