New season hype. What do you plan on botting with?

Hey guys.

Today is the new patch 2.4, the season itself will start this Friday. What do you plan on botting with? What characters, and why?

I will start - I think that Barbs again will be the most efficient to bot with, but maybe Saders, too.

yes same im doing Barb first then when i get all the gear and the Journey done im going to be playing Sader
 
as i'll be playing barb or DH, 1 of those classes to bot.

Barb was a solid last season, i found WD superior. I can really see some good speed coming to a charge barb as far as paragon leveling goes. esoteric + relentless has been really good for pushing the barbs survivability high enough that the bot can facetank. 6IK 4Reakor

DH hasnt been that great a bot. However this season perma vengeance 50% damage reduction + 7% per pet out or 60% damage reduction now with UE. Perma vengeance leads to way too much hatred to spend with yangs. Multishot for days(multishot area of effect = 1 screen).

I also plan to play around with monk, however there's no way im putting up with that starting set.

Few things:
1, you have 2 weeks before the bot is completly stable and combat rotations are perfected before you have to fully consider whats best for paragon levels(someone will figure it out rather fast).
2, tis the season to be banned, the changes to mob exp/hp has pushed the effectiveness of botting to the point we wont go soo unnoticed this season.
 
DH Botting isnt the best I have seen.

I have been modifying the combat routine for the Barbarian in order to play Raekor + IK with the idea to spam furious charge and only use ancient spear when full of fury to reduce cooldowns.
Is working very decent but I need the new raekor set to really test it out.

1) First off 2.4 patch may be available on Friday just before season 5 start.
2) From PTR data it appears that Saders & Barbs are going to be first in multi play with high Grifts.
3) I am a WD man from D2 and can't seem to get away from it with D3....WD's have not been regarded well in group play for last few seasons with all their lag issues. But for solo botting, never a poor choice.
 
The patch will be ready today, not Friday. Friday it's the season start.

However idk how long DB will take to run the new patch
 
There is no character better than WD for solo botting. But I hope Crusader comes strong for 2.4
 
I think I start bot as well 2.4 is most crappest patch I saw. So not worth to Manual Play anymore =(

No Season exclusive stuff anymore =(

That is very surprising and totally opposite result of mine. I equipped all ancient items on Monk but she couldn't go up higher than GR 52, but as soon as I changed to WD he was running GR 56. I have other account with WD with better equipment and he ran at GR 61 with no sweat.
 
My DH runs fine in grift 70's. Just have to tweak the profiles a bit if you understand how the profiling works. I'll post some s/s's later :D

I played the PTR. Saders are very good for 2.4, it feels like WW Barb actually (you just run with the horse-thingy all day long and mobs are getting killed by the thorns). But I think that Barb will be stronger for botters. We will see. :)
 
What build are you running Uljimah? Have you tried an impale build?
