The massive honorbuddy ban clearly shows that they can easily detect botting, so the question is when and if they are going do something about it in diablo too.
 
D3 is very different than WoW... A ban in D3 is far less likely since it's predominantly a single player game. Your account has little to no impact on other players. Both games share the same psychological hook as far as gearing, but WoW is different in that it is a very socially dependent game, hence the monthly sub. Blizzard knows that if they ban you on WoW, you are far more likely to get another account, where they make more money in the long run. D3 on the other hand is what they see as more "expendable" in terms of people quitting. That's why the ban rate in D3 will never be close to what it is or has been in WoW. So I wouldn't worry if I were you ;)
 
still since they have the technology to find out for HB, isn't it easy for them to apply it on DB ?
Or maybe DB share no code with HB ?
 
There is just less motivation to apply it to D3. The time and resource payoff wouldnt be worth the money/people they would lose. After all, they are a business. Firing all your constituents is bad business.
WoW is a good example of this. That massive ban wave was almost too big. And their quarterly numbers are going to look horrible, unless they choose to not count all those sub losses...
 
But really, it's hypocritical of us to be mad or worried about being banned. We are clearly violating their ToS. All cheating runs on a finite clock and it is literally just a matter of time until we all get caught. YOLO

Hi guys, weird bug, the bot sometimes starts a game in normal rather than T6. Did anyone experience and solve that?

Nope...
Make sure your settings in the bot menu are correct after the update. Just click 'settings' on the main HB window.
