new here - what's best method to redl all plugins (if necessary), after Buddy is fixed?

So, I'm monitoring the Status Thread: https://www.thebuddyforum.com/threads/exilebuddy-3-3-status-thread.419369/

Push stated: "Beta #1748 has just been deployed. A new release will be built soon as well."

I went here: http://updates.buddyauth.com/ and even downloaded the new zip.

If I copy and paste (+Replace) all files, then I would need to redownload and reconfigure all PlugIns, right? Kind of a pain in the ass. Is there a process that most people use that is fairly seemless?

To update, you simply have to start the bot again after Pushedx releases a new build. That will autopatch and everything should work as it did before.

If you are wanting to do a fresh install, then you can just copy the Settings Folder and that has all your settings. You can copy the 3rdParty folder if you want to keep all your previously installed plugins.

I open PoE and start Exilebuddy.exe, I'm getting this error

I do have the most recent PoE patch...

Edit: to avoid confusion, I have of course renamed ExileBuddy.exe

You probably have the release version, which gets updated shortly after the beta deployment. If you use the beta version by default, its always updated first.

i have an exilebuddybeta.exe in my folder too. i renamed that and tried that one but still get the same error. should I be DLing the beta from a different website?

I have never had lucky copying files from the beta to release and vice versa. I simply stick with the beta myself.

Ah looks like i'd need to reconfigure everything. Even tried copying old QuestBot folder, wont work.

I'll just wait for new release. Do they typically release it within the same day/night, or is there a big delay?

EDIT: - looks like https://www.thebuddyforum.com/threads/exilebuddy-release-thread-3-3.419393/ the new release is ready. I tried running my old exilebuddy.exe, expecting to be prompted with an update request, but I was not. REALLY trying to avoid having to start over from scratch by downloading a full new Buddy folder + client + dll's etc... Hoping to get this running before I sleep.

just copy settings folder as was stated above and load your default profile or whatever you named it
that way you can even duplicate setting profiles if you are botting on more than one account
