New herbs/ore going for insane amount of gold!

The reason mats sell for insane amounts the first few hours of an expansion is because of the people trying to get the server first in their professions. Actually I think 1000 g a stack was low.

Do you think 100g/stack on all mats will stay then??
Or will we see wotlk prices?
This question applies to everyone btw, what's your opinion?

I think that we will see much higher prices on things then in WotLK, but only because I think Cata is causing a lot of inflation. Plus there is HUGE glut of money from the 4-5 months people were waiting for Cata.

My prices have settled down to similar prices listed here and I still have no problem making 5k+ per day with a single bot on a single server. This is just simply by mass posting the AH at a undercut of 50s under the lowest person who has posted 10+ stacks of 20.

This is just selling the herbs too. I'm sending all my ore to my JC for gem guild/personal gem use. If I were selling the ore I'd easily be making 10-15k easy with a single bot .

Eventually we'll get prices releative to WotLK. The reason prices are still quite high is because people are still leveling their professions, and the stuff you can make with the mats are actually useful. When this isn't the case any more the prices will drop to (relative) WotLK level.

Sounds like your on my server. Unfortunately people rather undercut by golds rather than coppers having driven prices way down.
