Hey Guys! I am gonna do a little report on how this is gonna go for me!
I am gonna try selling gold on a completely new account! Starting by leveling my lvl 1 character up.
Here are my settings:
Combat Class
Started with
- Singular $Revision: 254 $ as my combat class! But the bot died alot.
Trying
- Convalesce Basic 4.0 by Mord for a while instead!
Using plugins:

Equip me
Talented
Refreshment Detection

Settings:

Kill between HS: On
Find Mount auto: On
Use Random mount: On
Logout for inactivity: On
Pull Distance: 30
Loot Radius: 45
Mount distance: 75
Loot mobs: On
Find vendors auto: On
Train new skills: On
Learn FP: On

Started!
Day 1.
Using Questing Mode

• 11.09 - Create lvl 1 Paladin on Alliance side of the server
• 11.11 - Start bot with [A - Quest] Human 1-60 [Kick] - Alpha.xml, above settings and Singular $Revision: 254 $ as my combat class!
• 11.17 - Level 3 - Bot succesfully trained
• Joined a high lvl guild too. Oh shit
• 11:30 - Lvl 5 - reached! Everything going smooth so far!
• 12:12 - Lvl 7 - Reached, Paladin has died a few times from ninjaing into a bunch of mobs.
• 12:30 - Lvl 8 - And almost killed by murlocs

He dies alot, changing CC: Convalesce Basic 4.0 by Mord.

• 12:48 - Lvl 9 - No deaths yet
• 12.56 - Jumped right into a pack of Murlocs, and died!
• 13:04 - Second Murloc death, very disappointing Paladin!
• 13:05 - Third, fourth, fifth murloc death - Manually doing the quest instead
• 13:02 - Level 11 - HB has frozen up once
• 14:54 - Lvl 13 reached - No deaths since Murlocs!

Gonna change to mixed mode now - Quest/PvP #Changed back again#

• 15:14 - Decided that PvP was not worth the time, xp wise
• 15:41 - Lvl 14 reached
• 16.17 - Lvl 15 Reached, no problems so far
• 20:42 - 70% through lvl 20, stopping it for today

So you just assume I gave up because my bot died alot? Right okay then, please leave the thread, meanwhile ill explain to everyone else why I quit.

Apparently I have not been clear enough, but I dropped the "project" after doing some research on how much I could get per 1k gold, I am not a newb, I have botted for 2 years now aprox, and made over 200.000 gold by doing so. But! As I said, I did my research, right now I can pull in about 7k each night, at tops, 7k * 0,7$/1k = 4,9$ -> 30 nights * 4,9? = 147$
Buying the account costs me about 90$, additionally I wanna use a vanilla account to transfer the gold to a goldseller, thats 15$
- A total of 105$, meaning the first month I will make 40$... BUT! It will take me 2 weeks to bot to lvl 85 and get mining and herbing up! Then my profit is negative 30$!
I now for sure im not gonna remember to run my bot everynight, so there goes my profit next month.
Already now it seems too much trouble for so little cash, and thats without calculating in the fact that a ban is very possible.

There for, project dropped - Not worth the trouble IMO!
Besides... I just sold 25k for 3 months game time, and I can do it more than once!

my pally is 67 now using FPS Paladin. a few stupid deaths (mostly HB related with their *new* "I'm gonna run through the mob, aggro 15 (true story..and lived through it though) and ignore that i have 'kill between hotspots' checked..cause someone's decided i get better xp doing it", but not too bad overall.

I have run my 85 farming ~16hours a day on average. I would be doing 24/7 if I didn't have afk and overnight unexpected crashes. It is completely random, some nights I'll have none and a full inven, others I will have half an inven. Either way I generate about $15 a day/account. In 1 week you can make back the entirety of the account costs

Either way I average around 15k a day, that's about 3-4 loads at a ratio of 2whiptail:1elementium to get the best g/hr for my server and its demand. I have a new private whiptail buyer @38-40g/stack depending on AH prices so my supply never builds up more than one inventory.

I have 2-3 Auctioneers on a vanilla account that sell out of my farmers fake guild. So far I have had 0 temp or perm bans from farming, only lvl grinding.

I sell gold for $.9-1.1/k. With 3 accounts this is a 6 1/2 days a week job that you dedicate about 30min work/farmer per day. With 6 accounts(separate servers) you would need to put bots in farm area, auction and go do whatever you need to do for the day without the limitations of a work environment. With 6 accounts & 3hrs of looking after & trading/day you have the potential to make $90/day or $2700/month after paypal fees etc. assuming you have found a consistent buyer or buyers.

Not worth time or money? I think you need to go back to elementary school and do a little multiplication

As far as my research showed there is no consistent buyers that will take that much gold, that often.

$$ Made w/ HB after fees: $121.61
as of 9-5-11

^^doesn't run 6 bots, that is almost 2 weeks into farming on 1 acc
*note, I got scammed for 30k on my second sale to this guy so I have been paid for 148,000g

buy 1 account and get to level $85... sell gold to make initial costs and next months fees... bot enough gold to get another account and expansions, bot that to level 85. rinse and repeat until 10+ bots. may take a while and by that time there may be no wow left lol... but meh.

go a couple months without getting banned and then its all profit...
and only 200,000g over 2 years? you can make 200,000g in 2 months with 1 toon i guarantee that. and if you have more than 1 running, way more gold.

I'm not sure what I'm doing different from y'all but I run bots on three accounts pull in around 8k a night 15k (assumed) if I actually sold the herbs and pyrite ore instead of milling them I've only been doing it for under a month and I'm covered on all three accounts till December buying two month time cards at 15k a piece so your endeavor sounds like you just didn't put enough time and want to into it.

Look around.
There isn't any upto spec of say, HB, but with time and patience you can do better on rift right now than wow.

You're forgetting bans, like nearly every single person on this forum tend's to forget when they put their "money making business" plans to work.

Shit get's harder when you hit 8-10 bots at the same time and blizzard start's to link your account's up and hit them all in one go, It ain't pretty, stop getting ahead of yourselves everybody, but then again It's not like you're going to listen to me anyway seeing as you think you'll be a millionaire off this, but hey.. I used to be the same way so goodluck, have fun thinking you're all fly and invincible, hit double figure account's then get wiped out, It'll put you back on the planet again, just like It did with me.
