new barbarian build- the Explode barb

Since DB isn't working for good atm, i decided to theory craft and hand test a new build.
I present to you the Explode barb: Barbarian - Game Guide - Diablo III

Mine has about ~30ish mil worth of eq:
2hand skorn with lpK ~1300 dps, unity ring for lph & jousting mail for lph, amulet with crit,as, ~2500 lpK, ik belt for 3% ls; the rest is not important, obviously the more attack speed the better cuz of slow skorn.

stats are as follows: 133k dps unbuffed, 180k buffed, 6500 armor 650 all rez buffed, 35k life

Hand testing proved this build to rip through mp 0,1,2 very fast. MP3 was a bit harder (just the champs). It is faster than ww build with the same EQ and i think it will be as fast if not faster than throw barb(speaking form experience, i usually got 2 of em botting around the clock). I can't wait to see how the bot is going to farm with that build; it will need tweaking of course, but i think it's gonna be awesome.

Overpower is pretty useless in this build cause you'll be constantly pushing mobs away. Also you'll need more fury generation to spam SS. I would take SS with Strength from Earth and Bash with Instigation as a primary.

That is the beauty of it, you don't need any more fury, into the fry generates more than enough combined with unforgiving. It crits constantly, try it for yourself, but i am pretty sure fury generation is more than enough, cuz i tried it out. If you don't like it you can change to Str of earth, as you suggested, and it will suffice.
I would not change cleave, however, it is really strong at low MP, 0 and 1 are getting raped bad.

About the Overpower, tho, i don't know yet, i did not use it manually. You are kinda right. But i still think the bot will employ it better. Anyway, this spot is free for experimentation with another skills. What would you use here?

edit: turns out threatening shout-grim harvest or ground stomp works better than Overpower.

Thing is, with 180k dps you roll through mobs easy - it doesn't matter what you get instead of overpower. You might even try Call of the Ancients just for the hell of it

What i'm wondering is how the bot will handle this build. SS needs some positioning to be efficient. We'll see how it goes.

A minute ago i was thinking exactly the same, mate. I have never tried SS on DB before. I hope community trinity has some logic for that skill, if not, i am sure the awesome guys who are developing it will be able to add it Honestly, i can't wait to try it out..

As for the skill to change OP with, i am using threatening shout manually now and it works great- it adds survivability (20% dmg reduce and more hp globes cuz of grim harvest) and not to forget the illusive 15% drop enhancement + fury generation = win
