would be lovely if people didn't try to interject their (fugly) take on something that's thrived for the past two decades.
that said, I'd love to see a way (or at least an option) to use avatars from a source such as FastPokeMap (right click on the pokemon avatar there and save as a png).. hell I'd do it myself, if I could.

avatars are non legible

i was here trying to see what is wrong with the pokemons avatar and i read this post... completly out of focus...
at least teach us how to make normal ones...

why we can use original-avatars? this pictures are a little bit... ugly, and its not easy to detect the pokemon if its so minimised in the map-frame.

I like these ... never exposed to "originals" so I suppose I don't know what I am missing. The ones in FPM were much worse if you ask me.

The one thing that seems like it would be helpful is a mouseover ALT text on the image so the name would be exposed if we don't have all 250 memorized.

I honestly don't know whats wrong with you guys... you don't need avatars.. a working bot is enough.. you're not sitting there watching the bot play that'ts the whole point. you don't even need colored text. plain white text is all you need. just to see what its doing.. you kids are special

Is it possible to add personal icons? So PF don't have copyright issues. But I'm able to use the original pictures in a separate archive which can be imported in PF?
At the moment it's a bit tricky with Gen2 without the right icons.

Have to say I absolutely love these images and have since the first day I started using this bot. I like the weird but cute take on the original images which you obviously can't use. Also anyone making such a big deal out of these has really missed the point...

just wish these icons in the bot were more legible. Props to the artist but we dont use the thumbnails to admire at your art, we use them to help identify the pokemon. It's difficult to do that when most of the backgrounds are the same color as the pokemon on top of them looking like the down syndrome version of their originals...

The last bit of your comment is completely unnecessary.

We do what must be done to cover our hinds with copyright laws. We have an artist who is currently hard at work with the gen 2 images who spends alot of time. While you might not like them, many people do, not to mention after a little while it gets easier to identify them from the recently caught tab
