.Net Error when running HonorBuddy! Help!

Here is the error i get when it loads:

could not load file or assembly "microsoft licensing runtime 2.0 version = 3.0.1913.225. culture=neutral. publickeytoken=5b7832056d5afd0b' or one of its dependencies. the system cannot fine the file specified

please tell Bossland GmbH about this problem to help improve the software you use. Bossland Gmbh is interested in learning more about this error. We have created a report about the error for you to send


has anyone run into this issue and if so how do i fix it? I have .Net 4.0 framework installed....

.net 4.0 =/= 3.5

go to microsoft and download 3.5 and it should work
 
hmm i tried to install 3.5, get a setup error and tried various diff 3.5 versions, do you have a link to a correct one that you works?
 
i get past extraction, past initial installation and then there is a set up error
 
I seem to be getting the same set up error. After the installation where it says you can now disconnect from the internet. The installation bar goes fully green but no MB is downloaded. then it says set up error at the top

so it must be something else
 
Try and run the workaround installer, you can find the link in the gatherbuddy thread.
 
it seems i keep missing you guys constantly! is there maybe a set time you guys are on that i can try to be on for?

what is the new issue?

did you download .net 3.5 sp1 and run it as admin? after you have done that, log into HB -- if it gives you an error, attach a log
