Hey everyone,

I came back to wow after a 18-24 month break and when i came back i still had around 500k gold left from the day that i quitted.
Besides that 500k gold i also had a couple million worth of mining materials that i did not touch at all yet.
Back in wod i've purcharged 5 battlechest and lvled those chars to 85 and i farmed 24/7 for 25+ days on those chars in classic/bc/lk/cata i only used mining no herbalism so i only got bars and gems and such.
I have atleast 3 guild banks completely full of material stacks with circa 6 tabs on each guild bank and im wondering what would be the safest way to sell those.
Before i quitted 18-24 months ago i just sold everything on my main account on 1 char but i heard from others and saw some post about it being safer to split ur items on different chars so people would not see u as a botter as quickly.
At that time I've grinded 24/7 25 days with those 5 alt accounts and just placed everything into the guild bank of my main account and 2 weeks after i stopped botting on those accounts i started to smelt everything and started to post everything on the ah (my main account was free from botting at that time)
Currently im using the questbot ~8 hours a day to lvl up my lvl 100 chars to 110 while being supervised for 95% im playing overwatch or watching netflix im only using the questbot i don't use any other bot at all.
I have around 400k left now that will last for another 2-3 months atleast to buy gametime tokens with .
My quistion is what would be the best way to sell these materials?
Like should i wait until i lvl my alts with hb and be botfree for 1-2 weeks and then sell my materials?

Any advice will be appreciated and thanks in advance:)

Personally i don't think it matters. If you get banned; you get banned. I ran Firelands on a bot for nearly 15 hours and it got banned for "exploiting the economy" 10 days into a 30 day game time. Yet here i am running 5 bots in Firelands and another one farming Sumptuous Fur in Spires of Arak for almost 12 hours a day and it's been 2 months and not a single "warning" or ban.

If you're going to AH mats, don't spam them on the market. Posting 15-30 stacks of Leystone Ore x200 a day is a bit suspicious and that'll be a quick ban for "exploiting the economy." I would put perhaps 10 stacks of an item up a day and then sell the rest through COD. There are plenty of people who buy mats through COD. My success in WoD with mats and how i made millions was selling to ONE particular buyer. I sold some items on the AH if he didn't need them that day or week but the rest i sold to him directly. It's a mutual partnership at that point because you have a guaranteed sell and he or she has a constant stream of mats coming in.

Dont get greedy!!!!!!!!!!!! selling to low paying CoD people or selling for high prices of the AH . i list a little in the AH, i sell most in Trade chat, and i dump extra on the CoD people who dont pay much. using different toons to sell in trade

Ty 4 the tips both i will suretenly be selling it in small amounts and different toons but don't u think it would be hard to sell cod? i often see people buy mats from new expansions massive in cod but i only got classic/bc/lk/cata bars so like thorium-cobalt-elementium etc etc are there actually people who buy those in cod? i personally never saw them.

I've never gotten banned from too many AH listings, so I would worry about it probably less than you think. In WoD I would list enough stacks of fur/hides to be nearly half of the current quantity listed. I'm doing raw gold now but before that I was listing a ton of Stormscale on one toon everyday. I think maybe it's suspicious to some people but they would probably rather buy cheap mats from bots than go through the trouble of reporting them.
