Needing input on why i got banned, and how many of you stopped botting?

The account I botted on was made in like late December 2015. I transfered a level 100 to it and played for awhile, and then near the beginning of February, I made a shaman and leveled him to 100. Took about 3 days I think.
 
Honestly, Its detected. I botted since MOP and did not get caught even once until the may ban wave. Well, i reactivated after the November unban, and was swiftly banned again on both accounts. During Christmas, I made 2 new accounts since it was $20 for new accounts, they were banned also. but it all shares a common theme.

1.) My first 2 accounts, i did a RAF , and it wasnt until right before the free month (2 months) was about to commense, that they banned those accounts (the may ban wave)

2.) my other 2 accounts from christmas to feb - it was right before the free month was about to come in that 1 of the accounts were banned (the raf account). I typically used the bots on party bot - follow - where I played one account, and had my priest follow and heal me. the priest was the total bot and the RAF account was a hunter, i moved but used CR to do damage.

magically somehow only the hunter account was banned. Oh well, cant play wow without bots but dont want to buy new accounts every month or so. I did want to play the new Xpac however...

My god. Can you not spread blatantly false lines please. We just got over explaining to the lurkers why its bs. HB is not detected, but if you do high risk things than you should accept the consequences (ie, bans)

The majority of the functionality of the bot is now high-risk. For the scant rest you can just as easily get slammed with the now uncommon banwaves.

People stopped using it because it's too dangerous. You **used** to be able to avoid a ban by playing it safe, I never ate any bans for years but nowadays it's just a matter of time. The only people I would suggest this bot to are actually high risk people who are OK suicide botting, for that crowd its fine.

It was a good bot but I don't blame anyone for not wanting anything to do with it anymore. For my purposes I don't bother, nothing I used to use it for is now really viable.

Actually, if we can rely on the official Honorbuddy Staff, and we usually can, since they successfully saved-our-a$$ from banwaves for a long 5 years period,

Honorbuddy is as safe as always was, if you take into account the following:

Never bot on account, you cannot afford to loose!

Beside that, we had witnessed two real banwaves in 2015: 13/5 and 16/12, and by Buddy Staff's honesty - they were due to actual detection, indeed.

After Jan 2016's tripwire alert, HB is supposed to be non-detected once again!

So the common rules for safety botting apply from then on:

- Bot smart.
- Avoid botting activities, which could easily deliver player reports on your character, like botting in PvP - both Bgbuddy and rotations in Arenas, RBGs are just 1 right click away of the player report.
- Do not flood AH.
- Do brakes, brakes, brakes - 24/7 botting is for the veteran botters, who DO KNOW what they are doing!

uhh..you realise the same people who prevented you being banned for years are the same people preventing you from being banned right now, there is no difference between now and then in terms of ban risk, only in your ignorant mind is there a difference because you never understood the risks that were always present and don't seek to remedy your ignorance by reading the information that is made available to you

See this is what gets me, i have botted 20 chars from 1-90 in mop - no kiddin. And now i am on my 6th level 100 from 90-100. What i don't get is why i am not banned seeing all of these countless tips and other people get banned, i've used this bot like it was the game, i made my own profiles for endless farms - such as alani (the thundering ruby serpent) and i have not taken a single bg, yet i have full PVP gear (conquest) on 4/6 of my level 100s and farmed way over 100 k gold. I play the arenas myself, because they are enjoyable.

What i am asking is; am i just inherently lucky ?, i mean i bought 2 sessions of honnorbuddy way back and kept botting almost non-stop ever since, and i have never had a notice or ban - ever.

no you are not especially lucky most people dont get banned its just a few people that dont know how to bot safely and so come onto the forum to ignorantly claim the bot is detected

I haven't botted since I got unbanned in Nov. It's just not worth it, ban rate is too high now.
 
I will not stop botting until I finally get banned. I am on a suicide mission atm, running my two accounts 24/7 on the same pc, same ip. let's see how long it takes before they catch me :)
Probably already flagged but what the hell. Will move on as soon as they get banned. gold market is pretty crappy atm.
 
I think it's funny that after two banwaves people still defend it saying "it isn't detectable". :rolleyes:
 
I was just wondering what everyone had to say sorry for the flamers I didn't want this to turn into that just was looking for a heads up and what others had gone through thank you everyone for your input I started up again but taking it slowly and not even touching bg's. so we will see I get one account back minus the 400k they took in a few months just before next xpack so should be fun.
 
I never got ban before and I had 7 main botting accounts and mine.
I consider myself a veteran when botting.

And playing Low profile didnt work. In all my time as Botter I never got ban.
and now even my main account just got ban.

So I wonder "How?"

Im a fanboy of HB and I support developers by buying at HB store but this is too weird.
There are 3 possible things at my point of view.

1. HB is Detected (and i wrote it before, a GM said it while banning one account)

2. Developers Sold us with blizz and later they will improve or remake HB to resell


Its imposible that I get a ban in my Main account.
I only bot with enyo and use it really few times.
I didnt use anything else.
I CONFIRMED - bgbuddy -bgfarmer - dungeonbuddy -gather - quest. all of them and their activities were detected.
so enyo too.
means if all activities are detected means honorbuddy is detected.

my only suggestion, If you want to say its not good right now just say it.
or if HB dev team dont want to answer then at least they should work on solution.

lol third troll post from you about hb detected here we go again :D, god your so butthurt it makes me laugh. :D then laugh some more at how bad you are at botting to be caught out compared to us people botting recklessly like myself :P
veteran? you may of used it way longer than I have but seriously your post doesn't resemble a veteran botter.

HB was detected but has been fixed by tripwire, why you think that last mini banwave that caught the few people during the tripwire event and others they didn't polish off the month before didn't affect us all?
Enyo ain't the problem, could be the routine got you caught? maybe not but more likely than enyo but my understanding.

I'm no veteran but if HB is detected the software is at fault not enyo itself for which if HB was detected I'd be sitting here saying YOU ARE RIGHT ON THE MONEY but then again I'm no expert, I'm no programmer, I don't work in Blizzard hack teams nor Buddy team so I am not saying this is correct but makes more sense than what your saying.

seriously, going on for 2 good months now on some of my 24/7 gold farming selling toons WITH INTERRUPTS ON and I've only been hit with 2 permas on the accounts trading gold directly between one another big mistake but the others going great with 2 new ones coming upto their first full month :)

Anyway I expect you to continue your nonsense we see one or two people a week go on like this, if it truly was there be a lot more say 100 to 200 minimum on the forums loosing it or have you as a veteran forgot what the forums were like during those big detection banwaves? And lastly which made me laugh again you believe what a G.M tells you? LOL

yeah if you read like around january i lost my first account cause i didnt turn bot off and there you can read how i got that info.

so someone says : " this could be detected " or " its detected " and must be a troll? - believe me, i do not waste time on forums like you. plus i understand the risk of botting, i came to give info. this are facts so info goes to HB devs and players who i advice 0 usage of bot (for now). dont get me wrong, im a fan of HB and i find it awesome still. me getting banned dosent change it at all. and i believe there are few options of what might happend. one of those is that HB team its working on fixing it too.

the difference between you and me?, it dosent comes from me being veteran or not.
the difference is that while you brag about being awesome and not getting ban, i came here to be proactive and give FACTS so the ones that use brain can use what i learned with all lost accounts.

like i said, Im a big fan of HB. but that dosent move my feet from ground and reality.
