Need some help with high CPU use (i7 3770k)

You cant take over someone else his modifications. Unless your hardware is exactly the same (CPU cooler, RAM, Moatherbaoard etc..) as that of somebody else ;)

Yea u are right ofc :) It would just tell me what results can i "expect" :)

Cheers!

In Trinity advanced settings, set bot TPS to 6-8 and cache refresh rate to 200-300.

Next version of Trinity will also have some modifications to lower CPU usage, still WIP though.

Hmm i wouldnt like to make my bots dumber and i belive decreasing tps and increasing cache refresh gonna end that way :)Do u have in my mind donators by WIP ? rrrix since u are here i would like to add that my bots have some serious problem in town (mostly my 2nd bot what is weird that it doesnt affect all of them). That bot is running around the town instead of taking WP to specific location. He usually lock himself at right bottom of them town or is running on the walls in top left side of the town. Dunno if its Trinity related or not (im using 17.2.1, havent upgraded to 2.2 yet). Im using tinnkeizer 0.7 :)

My i7-3770k has been hovering at 30%. I set everything to low or off in game. Exit. Go to d3 prefs and change

DisplayModeBitDepth "16"
MipBias "3.000000" (I'm skeptical about MipBias doing anything)
HardwareClass "1" (I think i changed this but I'm not sure, may default to 1)

Limiting FPS will make a massive difference. I've got them limited to 20 at the moment but I may drop it down to 15 when I load more than 8 bots on her.

Trinity I have TPS at 7 and cache refresh at 200.

Another thing that seemed to drop a considerable amount of cpu load was running everything in full screen windowed (being sure they were running at 800x600 resolutions). Previously I was just runnin 800x600 windowed but this doesn't allow you to shrink the windows down for easier viewing (they still render at 800x600 when shrunk).

make sure you have the correct ingame settings also, including fps, vsync, etc
all of this
brought me down from 55% to 25-30%

how do u manage to resize d3 ? ive changed my diablo to windowed full sccreen but i cant resize it by clicking. Im using jar so i can use shortcut to make it fullscreen but tbh its problematic due to bugs (sometimes hotkeys dont work and i need to edit-> save them) Do u have any work around for this?

I use AutoHotKey macro software and wrote up my own keys to do things w/ managing the bots. Basically setting up a few WinMove, WinTitle,, 1120,0,800,600 lines in a macro to sort them all quickly.

Hmm im not that advanced in creating macros etc. i dont have skill to write one so my guess is i will have to stick to JAR hotkeys :)
