Need help with difficulty settings in profile.xml

Hi there,

I just started using R-Yar to start the bot and run a profile schedule, and its brilliant.

Now what I need help with is, im trying to make the bot run different difficulties on each of the profiles i have in my schedule

Take this as an example:

In my schedule i have Zoltan Kulle Boss run profile + Ghom Boss run profile + Borns Key

I wanna make the Bot/R-yar start Zoltan kulle on Torment 2, Ghom boss on Torment 3 Borns keyl profile on Torment 1


someone suggested that i set the difficulty in each of the profiles manually, but the bot will override it with charactersettings.xml

Here is my gameparam for every profile:

GameParams quest="72546" step="8" act="A1" difficulty="Torment6" resumeFromSave="True" isPrivate="True" numGames="-1" />
<KillMonsters>True</KillMonsters>
<PickupLoot>True</PickupLoot>


Is there a way to make DB ignore the bot settings ?

Not possible, unfortunately. All profiles will run at the bot selected difficulty.

i could try that, but the bot log window when i start the bot in Torment6 manually says:
Creating new game. Params: [Act: A1, Difficulty: Torment6, Quest: 72546, QuestStep: 8, ResumeFromSave: True, IsPrivate: True]

So i think Difficulty="Torment6" is the right one

Maybe something got changed in the botcode so it doesnt read the .xml difficulty anymore

so?????? change difficulty for every profile, what you need for it

in the each file

Would be good to get the most out of your bot... if you can farm different profiles on different torments when using schedule
Dont NEED it.. would be a nice function to have i think, and im curious if it will work

i changed it in every profile i tried, but if the DB bot setting is normal, it will always start in normal

maybe its YAR problem, he override the profile setting by the setting from Character.xml
