Hello, I downloaded latest demonbuddy, and the zAutoPluggin thingy, but can't seem to get it to work.

After starting 2 Diablo clients and 2 DBuddy's i load the nephalem rift on one ( previously I manually put them in party ) and load the zautofollow on the other, then start the nephalem rift DB then the zAutoFollow DB, the nephalem rift one plays normally while the other one is AFK

Not necessary to manually put them in party. Steps are as following:

1. Start first D3 client (the one to be the follower) and first dbuddy.
2. On that one, load "FollowerCombat.xml" (you can find it under Plugins>zAutofollow). Also, make sure that you have Autofollow checked on dbuddy under the plugins tab.
3. Hit start on that dbuddy.

4. Start second D3 client (the one to be the leader) and secind dbuddy.
3. On that one, load the profile you want to run (normal rifts, greater rifts, bounties...). Make sure that you have Autofollow checked on dbuddy under the plugins tab.
5. On that tab, also select Autofollow and click on "Config". A window will pop up.
6. On that window, on the "Networking" part, you have to change the role of the leader bot from "Client" to "Server". If not, it won't work.
7. Close window, and click start on dbuddy.
8. Enjoy.

Destroyer is spot on with those instructions. Sometimes it will take a try or two the first time you get it installed and going. Everytime I have an issue with it, I check these things:

  • Make sure the plugin is turned on for all bots.
  • "Followers" are set to DB>Plugins>zAutoFollow> "FollowerCombat.xml" if you want them to fight or "FollowerPowerLevel.xml" if you want them to sit idle in the map to collect experience.
  • "Followers" are set to "Client" in the AutoFollow plugin
  • "Leader" is set to the DB>Profiles>Adventurer>Profile... that you want
  • "Leader" is set to "Server" in the Autofollow Plugin

Once you get it running well, sometimes you want to change the leader. You simply change the above items to match your needs. However, this can confuse the bot sometimes. Whenever I change the leader and have issues, I close my bots and simply delete the AutoFollow settings:
DB>Settings>GamerTag>AutoFollow

Then I open the bots again, and go through the list above to make sure they are set right before hitting START.

If you're still having issues, you can read through the AutoFollow Thread as most issues and fixes are explained there.

...Also, you can usually find me in Discord, send me a PM and I will reply the next time I get on.

I had problems starting season 8 with AutoUpdate running. So I made all new folders and installed fresh latest DB Beta w/ latest AutoFollow Beta w/ latest Trinity Beta.

All is well. The older versions can be problematic.

I follow TwoCigars instructions for how to start except I always start Leader first then Followers. But I click start on all 4 DB clients so fast it doesn't really matter.
