i had the following porblem that the buddy tells me :

Go to your "Options -> Graphics" in the client and check what "DirectX Version" is set to on the bottom. It can't be "DirectX 11", so try "DirectX 9" or "DirectX 9Ex". You'll need to restart your client after changing it.

are you running PoE fulll screen, i had that same. got bot working when switched to windowed/windowed FS.

Most likely you are using some of the "overlay" programs like Nvidia Shadowplay or MSI Afterburner. Please read this page for more information.
