Need constructive criticism on gold business plan

You obviouse have never dealth with Pusada. I sold to them for past year++++. They have no demand. Woopty fucking doo 50k a day or every other day. That is jack shit for demand. most pages you can say hey i have 200k gold Do you want to buy. And they will say yes. Then you can go back the next day with 200k more on same server and they will buy it again. Pusada on the other hand you sell them 50k gold then they cant buy on that realm for 3-4 more days. Unless you're on a highly demanded realm which is 20x harder to make gold on. Pusada has no demand. I can go make a webpage and claim i have Huge demand also lol its all advertisement bullshit.


And last time i checked Pusada was paying the same price as the chinese.

You are bringing so many different factors into this. This has nothing to do with the banning and if you are telling me a site will buy 200k then why wouldn't you just leave it at that and maybe provide ONE of your "most pages"

I'm asking for help not arguments over gold sites and IF's. I wouldn't be getting into this if I didn't think there was a risk of getting caught and having to rebuy accounts

No I don't see any competition in virtual game currency selling because I am not actually the seller. I am just a supplier who will trade to larger suppliers

Wow, you seem never know what the business evolve into nowadays ? World Bank said it gonna be a mean to reduce poverty in Third World countries, and in reality, thousands of entrepreneurs and businessmen already poured their money and skill workers into it, employ hundreds thousands of people, mostly in China. Half of them using bots, like Honorbuddy, and it becomes a very competitive market right now. So I though you are a business student from the way you act.

@whatcha413: Pusada used to be a big name of the industry. Nowadays, they simply couldn't compete with Chinese big name like gameusd.com, that can do (nearly) same level of customers service, but at a much lower price. It's easy to understand, this is a low barrier-of-entry industry anyways.

Hey, I'm trying to be constructive. When I asked what is your "competitive advantages" and "risk management and contingency plan", I were trying to improve your business model with a business way of thinking in mind. So you will be prepared in every worst scenarios. What you gonna do if your farmer accounts get banned before you earn back the initial investment ? Maybe...prepare more money than the initial 12 accounts ?

From my own experiences, for the first 6 months of operation, I got banned waves after waves of accounts and still couldn't figure out what's wrong. When I figured it out, I had some peace for a while and then they leveled up their catching ability and I had a hard time again. This cat-and-mouse game is an evolving game and I never know for sure how to be safe from their watchful eyes to tell you. Honestly.

What I can tell you is that: forget about you "dream" cost and sales forecast, and focus more on how to reduce bans. The loss from banned account is the TRUE cost of this business model, not some pitiful $15 per month.

Simple fact is. Blizzard is getting more anal and banning a lot more. I dont give a shit what people claim that they only got 1 ban in past 3 years there just full of shit. unless they dont sell gold.

I don't sell gold as a main stream but i've been know to sell some now and then. I give more gold/mats away then anything as I make more money leveling/selling accounts then the gold itself. THats just something on the side to help offset things in game and such. I move enough accounts enough to make mey money back and then some. I've not heard any complaints about my accounts being banned/suspended, a couple repeate buyers but thats it. I make sure to tell people that the account has risks.

ALWAYS put bans into your little "plan", I see people like you (no offense) all the time thinking they will never get banned and it's just pure profit, wait till one of your account's get hit and they all get linked up, boom.. wipe out. Happened to me one month and I lost nearly 20 account's, if you get banned within the first 2-3 weeks you've wasted a lot of money.

This isn't 2006, gold selling has changed a fuck load in wow, which is why many people have quit and a few hardcorers have moved to rift to sell, don't blame them either.

That quote is faulty, the vanilla account gold seller is to be assumed LOST CAUSE. It will get banned 100%, it makes no difference if you delete the character. The entire account gets banned, its happend to me. And you have to withdraw from your guild bank only, you cant use 'trade window' else they trace everything, same thing here happend to me. So end of day you need to subtract $19.99 for the vanilla account from your profit margin per transaction.

And if you can find out how to reduce that ban rate significantly, while selling huge amount of gold everyday right under Blizzard's nose, come back here and share with me. then I will share with you how to keep your farmers alive beyond the break-even point. I see things much the same way in the taxing aspect. I feel I can do enough to keep the botters safe-ish (as safe as you can keep them, it's still always botting) while paying a small fee for vanilla to take advantage like many of us.
I've been testing things out for about 5 days now on 4 accounts. And here are my results:

Rogue 80-85
Mage 1-50(separate account)
Hunter 1-34(separate account, started 2 days later)
One vanilla gold selling/auction account (separate account, same gbank as rogue and few random chars)

I have had success in using Tony's Uldum GB2 profile since I seem to be having the same issue as many in the comments downloading the normal GB.
As far as leveling goes I come in contact with at most 2, 3 people tops on a full pop pvp server a day playing quite a good bit. I am also using Shut Up whisper plugin with modified answers to keep things a little more afk'able.
The rogue has been using GB2 for a day and a half now and has gone from 1k to 9k not including the 5k spent 310% so I am pleased with the output one bot can do in a day most definitely.

CutPurse

I have attached my current setup and the reason for the double width is for my dual screen setup.

Unless you have money to start with. Don't bother. Gold market is disgracefully low. Aquiring gold has become much easier via professions in cata so we're seeing elss buyers + the cheap chinese websites = no go. You'd make more oney mowing lawns whilst your bots grind rep on your main..

?? Is 4 accounts considered money to start with? Obviously I'd make more mowing lawns if I was planning on botting 1 acc. That however is not my thinking or plan whatsoever.

Edit: Also, it seems like everyone here likes to make people think they should give up before they try and the thing about the facts are that gold buyers are still buying gold (I have had a one or two hit me up via AIM recently) and just yesterday I was quoted $1-1.2 all servers which is even a few cents higher than I anticipated when I originated this idea.

The thing is not only has the price of gold gone stupidly low, but so has ingame items.

A stack of ele-ore is down to 25g a stack.

So inless you plan on botting 24/7 on servers that are not always packed out with bots you aint gonna be making much gold at all.


Im someone else that has also stopped selling gold. There are just to many young kids making some spare pocket money.

But if you REALLY want to give it a try, start small.

Now you can pickup a WoW account + 1x85 toon for the same (And sometimes less) price as the game keys cost in the first place. So buy yourself 2 accounts.

Then get yourself a vanila key and bot it (Leveling) while your famers are filling your bags (A lvl 1 undercutting in AH is asking for trouble) you also want 2-3 toons on each server (Just lvl them up abit, 20-30 or something, takes less than a day)

Then when your bags full, send to bank toon 1, then next bags full, send to toon2 etc. etc.

Store your gold up. That vanilla account WILL be banned when you trade the gold to a lvl1 chinese buyer, so make sure you do like 100k + at a time so your always making money (instead of spending more profit on vanilla accounts)

Then after a couple of weeks see that it's not worth it after all and sell your 2x85 accounts and get a job.

I see where you're coming from, I do. But after being on here for just a week I have 3 or 4 buyers that I can go through as to not oversupply any single one and deflate the price more than people are claiming it already is.
I bought gold back in BC and although the price IS dropping, the profit margin gained if you can hold your botter accounts for even just a month is simply one that I won't pass up.

YES, 50k+ gold transactions always so that I can at most make $35 off the trade($50 @$1/k - $15banned vanilla) and 100k is most likely going to become the minimum once I get the other two accounts to 85 (2 of the bots are on the same server still not linked in anyway though)
