Need advice on computer specs.

Not to hyjak the thread but i have :
I7 2700k overclocked to 4.8ghz
A gtx 570 asus card
16 gb of ram
Liquid cooled
A ssd and a 1TB hard drive

The most ive done is 5 WoW bots and 1 D3 bot at the lowest settings with FPS limiters, i was at around 40% cpu usage, but sometimes it spiked up to 80-90% for a second and then back to 40%, does that mean i can handle 10 bots?

The GPU was below 30% usage so i think thats fine for more but my processor wasnt cheap lol and im confused why it spikes to 90% usage sometimes.

punisher775, sure, just get 32 gb instead of 16 and run 10-12 bots.

@fr3357 I had to make it simple because I'm typing this using tapatalk.
I was not trying to disrespect your computer skills, I am just like you a computer "geek".

I do agree with what you are saying the I5 vs I7 if you have the extra money it's a good upgrade to get, but it's also good to spend that money on a SSD or an upgraded Motherboard, Etc.

You only really need a expensive motherboard if ur going to over clock , i7 all day everyday over i5 regardless of wat your doing. Decent ssd and quality memory and a great amount of cooling

thats the only reason I corrected it, I am not posting in here to boast or make known my knowledge. But to share with OP, what I would do personally. Dont build a PC around a CPU, build around a MOBO and PSU imo. Those are 2 very important fish in the build.

You only really need a i7 if u have practical use for its power...

with a i5 and a good mobo, u can easily clock it up to 4.5Ghz+ no problem at all and run 10+ bots. Why put the xtra money into a cpu, when he can build a better foundation off the mobo, and upgrade the CPU later off of the profits from the bot? I am not going to back down off that a i5 will do what he is asking and it saves money, most of the people, like the quote above, just say i7 all the way? for what reasons... He is asking for help cause he dont know, and if you cant offer any justification for him it does not help him.
