HQ Leafborne is like 80k or so but its just so rare, I get like 4 for one whole day of botting and its demoralizing to see that. I guess its still better than fishing hmm

Its still 300-400k on my High Pop Legacy server... sounds like you just have more botters using these profiles. Maybe you will find something that less people are doing and make some money on it before others catch on. Keep your eye on the market!

I really don't understand peoples logic crashing markets that hard.. there can't be that many HQ leafborne on the mb.. and they will sell.. so why crash a 400k+ item down to 80 lol.. with that said.. Most of the food that has profiles are crashing too because people spam it on the market board instead of actually doing it right.

I mean....supply and demand...but also, greed. There are probably just way too many people botting on his server for the demand of the market.

Supply and demand is exactly what you need to abuse though.. You let stuff sell out, and if a market is already flooded, don't flood it even more (Help the market empty out), so you can relist for a higher price..
Let's say everyone let the HQ leafborne sand sell out on his serve, and then they all started relisting for 3-400k again, the demand is there.. So they will sell..
I understand market board undercutting and all, because who doesn't want the sale.. but at some point people have to stop and realize that they have let it drop too far.. Even pipira pira.. it's one of the most popular all purpose foods out there.. so the demand is there.. instead of everyone taking advantage of that, people are spamming the food, even after it has dropped to let's say 5-10k when they could be getting way more, I don't know how your market prices are, but if I were to buy all the mats to make pipira, they would be about 4k a piece, so definitely not worth selling for 5-10k..

I realize there's a lot of people botting food like Pipira, but that's still time spent, and time still = gil, even if it is another account. having to spend more and more "time" to make the same amount of gil.
There are still good markets out there, that haven't been heavily invaded yet, which means that even if I do bot it, I can make the same amount of gil in 30 minutes that someone who just floods markets has to use an entire day to do. And that means I can spend the remaining 23 and a half our of the day on numerous other less time consuming things and make even more gil..

Anyways.. That's just a rant I guess.. Everyone would be making more gil in less time if they did it smarter is all..

I might even transfer off this server to get more gil gain, I'm getting pretty bad profit here haha

I think the problem of an oversaturation of bots that outpace actual demand cannot be compensated by trying to let the market sellout, then relisting everything; the problem becomes evident when someone is selling gil and trying to find an easy set-and-forget profile with a 25 bot server they can just run 24/7. At that point, you have a continuous influx of supply, and that supply just increases if you try to hold off. You are forced to keep selling your supply at the same rate it is being collected in order to maintain a strong real world cash income.

Add in hundreds of other botters doing the same thing, and they need to keep undercutting you to sell their own supply faster then they can collect it. Eventually, the only way to keep demand high enough to sell your stuff fast enough to keep pace is by heavily undercutting the market, and you find this situation on some servers where the prices stay consistently low.

The real goldmine will be with materials that are still in demand, but do not have an easy 24/7 AFK bot profile (especially the public ones like on these forums) to constantly generate them; that will eliminate most of your competition. Remember, you are competing against people looking to make a living off this game (and running multiple suicide bots with speed hacks and teleporting to do it), not playing it for fun; they don't care about crashing the market as long as they maintain an income at everyone else's expense.

Yea I am one of them just trying to make some money off this game, but I can't see myself buying more accounts for this sole purpose, the effort needed to get 60 BTN/MIN and not to mention the MSQs are too much hassle to go through

I've yet to hear of someone making real money with just a single account without giving up after a month; it seems it requires many suicide accounts and hacks to compete with the real sellers. If it was that easy to make money running this bot, then RB would be FAR more popular with a vast and substantial user base.

I'll be starting on 1-50 questing soon-ish to help alleviate those leveling issues.

^ Definitely agree with this. Unless it was safer to sell Gil, I'd be in it for the IRL profits too; but, as of now with SE's stance on proactively going after Gil sellers, I'm not in it for profiting, despite the desire to be.

I thought the ones in trouble are the people teleport farming in here, you mean people like us get banned for RMT activities? Is it that obvious to track down?

Gil sellers are the absolute highest risk and the quickest to get perma-banned; next is the non-seller teleport hackers, which are still at risk, but not nearly as much.

They actively hunt down gil selling accounts and shut them down with no warnings or suspensions given.

Seriously.....

Currently deciding to buy 2 more accounts to speed up the gil earning process, my main is leveling all crafting to 50 now. I am assuming that I have to complete every MSQ to unlock flying and that would require alot of manual supervision like doing all the dungeons and stuff which the bot can't do. Which class is the best for solo-ing with the least deaths while botting?
