[Necromancer] Rathma Faceroll Glass Cannon GR 100+

I have been using this routine since season started and have probably watched it run for 30+ hours. I stopped updating the routine at 1.0.6 and have been using that version for many days. I can easily clear GR85 with 1.0.6. I might make a separate post with some suggestions after I try your new update (since I spend so much time watching it, I think some of my observations would be useful), but right now I just wanted to ask other users a question:

Should I update to 1.2.2 or stay at 1.0.6? Is it much of an upgrade in terms of performance and clear times? Or does it have more bugs and I should stay at 1.0.6? (I'm asking other users, not you Bantou! But thanks for your work, it is an enjoyable build to watch and has kept me on the leaderboard since the season started.)

I was using 1.1.2 a long moment.
I did the update and i have no noticable problem so...
I would advise you to try the 1.2.2 and if you don't feel it better just delete it and use the old one, it's still avaliable to download anyway ^^

I am actually cleaning GR 80 7-9 minutes before the end with 1.2.2 and only 2-3 ancients items
 
Is it possible to make the necro backtrack or kite away after dying? I've noticed that it sometimes dives into a group as a ghost and dies repeatedly until land the dead comes off CD and it's able to clear. If I remember correctly, WD had option for it under trinity a few season back.

Great work on the routine btw :)
 
I got another strange issue.

The Bot is walking on to the Elites most of the time and does not use the defined Range. ( Version 1.2.2 and used exact same settings as in first post)

While fighting Trash Mobs he stands allways on Range. My Friend has exactly the same problem with the same settings and also running V1.2.2.
I've encountered the same issue. Pretty sure that's a trinity/DB issue.


I might be able to improve this ... thanks for letting me know ... I will definitely have a look at it :)

I am farming gr85 with 900 paragon and it works good. I have noticed most time the bot dies are because skeleton mages just being idle and does not attack elite. When I play manually, I solve this problem by summon another set of skeleton mage while my mouse is pointing at the target. The newlly summoned pet will attack the pointed target for sure, and soon after, the rest skeleton mages will wake up and attack the same target. So I guess there are maybe two ways to summon mage. One is cast on air, the mage will spawn in the direction of our mouse, but may or may not properly find a target to attack. Another one works like command skeleton, we cast it at a target enemy and the mage will attack it right after spawned. Maybe you can cast skeleton mages focusing on elite to further improve your amazing routine.

There are two more minor problems that can be improved.
1. During rift final boss fight, it is very helpful to constantly using command skeleton at the boss (maintaining at least 4 mages for sure). The attack speed wont change. But the freeze control will definitely helps. Keep doing this and we will have 100% safe 1v1 boss fight. It is extremely useful when pushing higher GR.
2. The 4 mage quick casting option need to check Nailuj's Evol. Currently it doesn't check so people will have 8 super small mages with Nailuj equipped.

Again, thanks for the great job Bantou, it is the best Nec script ever!
 
Season GR 95 in 14 minutes for my 4man team. A rathma necro is in that group with current version 1.2.2.
It is running pretty smooth.
In the end I think this build is not strong enough for much further than 100, only if you include another necro for the rift guardian (Inarius skeleton build is the only that can do that).
Besides that: Great Job on the routine :-)

I'll check when I get home, but I'm pretty sure I'm casting the Mages on the target's location ;)

This is the second request to recast Command Skeletons on the same target, so I think I might go ahead and make the change :)

It doesn't need to check Evol, if Trinity was correctly counting the number of Mages out, it would be working as intended :P

Edit: Right now it left behind progress globes in GR due to a shrine close..after some loop used the shrine, ignored the progress globes and walked away. Option to collect health globe in routine config is ON, the one to collect health globe in Trinity options is OFF.

Sorry for my noob question. But how do I add a routine to demonbuddy?

The walking into elites is fixed in next version (I'm out having a beer atm, so you might have to wait until tomorrow for that) :p

And also in the next version I've removed smart shrine activation while in combat, until I can work out why it's sometimes still not working as intended :)

I would turn on collecting of progress globes in Trinity settings if I were you, because Trinity handles collection of them outside of combat atm ;)

Using 1.2.2, it happens quite often that the bot was attracted by other mobs after killing rift guardian, running away, not picking up the rift stone and loots and just portal to town directly.

To help try and help prevent this, I've added an option in the settings of the next version to allow the bot to return to the Trinity default behaviour, and run right up to the Rift Guardian in Nephalem Rifts, but even then, the first time I tested it, he didn't pick up the stones, because avoidance pulled him away from the boss (perhaps if you then turn the Health down on Avoidances, it will make more of a difference) ;)
 
First off, GREAT build!! I've been noticing lots of deaths due to Gruesome "pops", not sure if others are seeing this as well. Doesn't seem like Necro tries to avoid them at all.
 
Forgive me if I missed this in a previous comment, but would it be possible to see a D3planner of someone running this successfully in high GRs. I followed the linked guide build and am struggling in GR60s.

I could complete some rifts fine but others I would just chain die over and over to every mob. GR70 I didn't seem to have the damage to even get close to clearing. I have a pretty solid ancient weapons/shield and lvl 60 gems so I have a feeling I'm missing some important alternations to make this work.

Also of note - Currently using Travelers pledge and compass rose. Legendary gems are esoteric, enforcer, bane of the trapped. Only about 22% CDR with CDR on shoulders and offhand.
 
Anyone that has tried to use this for bounties and can report back some fast clears? If so, please share your settings and build. Running it myself atm with BR and BA instead of LotD and Sim, but I feel like its fighting too often instead of just rushing past.
