As a long time DB/HB/EB etc. user and member here on the forums, I have seen quite a few revisions of software from the buddy team - And, while obviously first revisions are never going to be as polished as final ones, none of this was ever an issue because the Buddy team was always pumping out the next improvement or feature to improve the quality of their product.

I can honestly say that this Nav server is the first time a buddy product feels like it has actually gotten worse. While I understand piracy is a huge deal and a large source for lost revenue, this implementation feels not only hurried and unfinished, but where the bot's ability to run well used to be based on the coding skill of the dev team and quality of the hardware it was running on; now DB completely relies on a third party server not just to authenticate keys periodically, but to send every bit of information necessary for the bot to function at all. This is not only a lot of data, but a huge bottleneck to the potential quality of the software.

I can remember periods where the Auth server would be under a large load and people would have trouble logging into the bot, and that was only when it was checking several digits of a user id. Now, it's sending vast amounts of data telling the bot how to navigate every area it visits, and as a result I am yet to be able to have it run a third or a bounty or rift without sputtering to a stop and complaining about stucks because the bot has stopped moving. I'm all for ending piracy, but I have to believe there is a better solution than this.
