Bot was working fine for 3 hours and now will only attack when mobs spawn near my char. Is the nav server down ? Will it be restarted soon ?

Hi crikey,

The bot has definitely had some issues today with errors and freezing, but per my log the nav server is up and running.

The issue with your character staying in one location until respawns has been happening to me quite a bit. To fix this issue, just restart the bot; if it's happening frequently, restart the game and the bot. With luck, Aevitas can figure out why some of these errors are occurring (per some of the other recent threads) provide some sort of fix.

Cheers,
-D

That happened to me at lunch today when I switched profiles. It was fixed when I restarted SWTOR and BW

Also I have tried restarting Buddywing. restarting swtor + buddywing. restarting computer + swtor + buddywing.

I have also tried setting core affinity to seperate cores for the 2 swtor processes and the buddywing proccess. I am at a loss at the moment.

Just deleted and used a fresh download of BW and still no movement

If restarting the game and bot didn't do the trick, I'm not sure what's going on. Did you confirm that the correct profile (for your planet/area) is loaded, and that your character is within the level range shown?

To attach a large log, the trick is to zip it first so it's not too large to upload.

Cheers,

Ummmmm. Sorry for the inconvenience I am just an idiot.

<MinLevel>1</MinLevel>
<MaxLevel>50</MaxLevel>

changed to

<MinLevel>1</MinLevel>
<MaxLevel>55</MaxLevel>

Fixed.

I jinxed myself with my post above. Now my bot is stuck, and restarts aren't fixing it >.< It's saying:

This planet's navigational data has not been fully loaded yet, please try again later. [Planet: 4611686039258170278]
Sleeping while waiting on execution state to be available for BotMain.Stop()

Over and over again.

Mine is also. This just means the navigation server was restarted, and now we have to wait (30+ minutes) for all the planets to load. Food break!

Does the nav server get full and then not allow connections or something ? This is strange.

No, I think that was a manual reboot. The server can slow down though when enough of us are online.

So it needs to be upgraded or cloned so as to give optimum service to us paying customers ? Are the buddy people aware of this ?

No it was just a quick manual restart (Manual meaning they triggered it themselves so yes, they know about it)... that's a down time of 30 minutes it should be fine for a while now.

i think most of the problems with this bot are because of the nav server.

i was having tons of problems this morning and having to restart the bot every 5 minutes as it would lock up, then once the nav server was restarted this thing runs nice and smooth. they need to address this problem, either upgrade the servers somehow or let us download the navigation data onto our computers. maybe download it on a panet by planet basis rather than the whole thing.
