[N - Rep] Magisters' Terrace Endless Farm

Today I updated this profile with MAIL, REPAIR, and VENDOR support. It will detect if this is needed after each run, and if so, take care of it before it runs back in the instance. Please test! (It will use whatever settings are in the top of the profile, which you can edit if you don't want the defaults.)
 
I find a link and 2 attachments. Which is the latest version?

The HB forums won't let me change or delete any previous attachments (which is shitty; can somebody change that?), so unfortunately I can't rename them or even upload another one... >_< Why can't I manage my own uploads and delete the files I don't need any more?

Edit: Can some moderator delete the older versions of the file? If I edit the first post there is NO way for me to remove that "Attached Files" window with the old files... *sigh*

Ran the profile flawless a few time, but now I got this error and it will not enter by itself anymore

Also, sometimes it just stands there in the first boss room while mobs attacking it, is this a CC issue?
 
You know, this GoThruPortal issue has been happening with me for multiple profiles since the last couple HB releases. I don't know what is causing it, but for me it also happens after a while, which makes me think it's something with how HB uses memory (but I am speculating). Maybe there's a memory leak? Yours says "Timed out after 190266401 ms" which is 190266 seconds, which is roughly 52 hours (which obviously didn't actually happen). I don't think it's anything in the profile that is causing that issue, or it would be causing it every time.

Perhaps we should create a bug thread for the bot in general with the GoThruPortal command not working correctly? I am seeing this exact same issue, always with some ridiculous time-out figure, like yours.

In theory, your CC should automatically fight back, even if the character face-pulls something. If it's not fighting at the first boss, I would agree it's maybe a CC issue. There is nothing in the code at that point that would turn off combat to move there.

(I wish I had better answers for you :( )

zikke i made some changes to this profile to make it run more smoothly if you would like me to upload it id love to let me know or i can send it to your pm

I'm having this quite a few times also, but I am curious if its possible to make the GoThruPortal function also have a 10-20 second wait timer while its doing it so the bot just sits there like a good lil program until the timer is over, then resumes to see whats up.

I have tried adding wait timers at various points surrounding the GoThruPortal command it never seems to actually help anything. Even with a nice, calm wait, the bot will still stop saying it waited for several hours when it really didn't.

I'm having this quite a few times also, but I am curious if its possible to make the GoThruPortal function also have a 10-20 second wait timer while its doing it so the bot just sits there like a good lil program until the timer is over, then resumes to see whats up.

Ok zikke i uploaded a couple files one with the changes and one for those that are not good at editing to have it run after exalted. I removed the gothroughportal to just a simple nocombatmoveto and added a waittimer after it. I also added a waittimer after using the transport at the end. Both of which are set at 30 sec a little long but hey its one run per 12 min =). I also added one more hotspot directly in front of KT because I was noticing sometimes it would wait for the speech and then try to skip him and try to exit anyway. This way hes already near Kael and gets pulled into combat instead.

p.s. i turned loot mobs back on at the beginning of the profile so if you wanted to change that just wanted you to know it was changed

I originally used a simple move command to go through the portals, but people were complaining about the pathing got screwed up on their client's end and the GoThruPortal command worked better, at the time. Today, however the GoThruPortal command seems to be breaking a lot, so perhaps it is time to revert back to basic movement until it's fixed... *sigh* Also, the timers will not start until after the character finishes loading the new zone after taking the teleport or zoning in through a portal, so I found there is little value to having them in the profile; it just delays things.

There is already be a hotspot directly at the feet of KT to force a pull. My test character is a melee and I have never had it not pull KT...

Before changing the profiles back to movement through portals, I'm going to post in the dev section about the GoThruPortals command to see if one of the devs can get it fixed. It used to be (and hopefully will be again) a more graceful method of moving through portals.

I do like the idea of the character waiting out the speech while standing next to KT to minimize the chances of error, I just never saw any of that error. But it wouldn't hurt anything to change it.

Okay I uploaded a v1.4 profile. It now uses MyCTM to move into the portal instead of GoThruPortal (until that command gets fixed), and also pauses for KT's speech while standing on him to minimize the chances of skipping him. I just ran this 100% AFK for 6 runs and it worked without a problem (no crashing, no errors, etc.).
 
These are great profiles Zikke! I have raised my BC factions very quickly since you posted them. A couple questions for you...1. Are you planning on moving to WotLK profiles by chance? and 2. Have you thought of moving your profiles to a SVN type system kind of like Kick does? It would make it easier to distribute the various changes to everyone running these great profiles. Regardless, thanks for your hard work. It is much appreciated! + Rep!

For me it would be for dungeon gold farming no doubt. I would be willing to donate for a few of these.
 
For me personally it would be rep. I would gladly donate for some more runs like your BC ones. Thanks for consideration!
 
this seem really nice but could anyone give me a tip on how long this would take to get Exalted like 5 days with botting all night and morgning or just how many hours ??
