[N] Mining + Herb Farm in Valley of Four Winds - MASSIVE Yields

Giing it a try today while I?m at work. Is there any problem with grey stuff or something, since there are no vendors? I guess if he?s not engaging in any combat there shouldn?t be, just out of interest.
 
Thanks all for the comments. Glad it's working well. Phasing does not affect this area to my knowledge. I myself did not do quests in this area before making the profile.

I have 9 kills in about 45 minutes, so maybe we should investigate a bit more if the goal is to make it mob-less!

Yeah, sometimes it will encounter mobs. This happens when it ventures outside the determined grind path because it keeps following a track of nearby nodes. No real way to prevent that from my knowledge other than blacklisting the entire perimeter.. Just shows how dense the nodes spawns are :P.

If any of you have a problem, try posting a log and I'll take a look. I'm not an expert, but I'll do my best. Just make sure you're loading the profile in Grind Bot, not Gatherbuddy.

The herbs will cause you to loot the Water Spirit/Life Spirits. That's about the only excess loot you can count on.

My bot just stands still in jadeforest and mounts on diffrent mounts without eving moving an inch, please help

You need to start the bot in the zone Valley of the Four Winds. And make sure you're running the profile in Grind Bot, not Gatherbuddy.
 
I've been using this on an 85 Hunter in Pandarian greens. Works very well. Occasionally gets in a fight, but no deaths. I do have loot radius to 100. Previously, I had it set to 25 and it never got in a fight, but didn't seem to grab as much ore / herbs.
Thank you so much for the time and effort. IF you do have anything else that doesn't require flight please let us know.

Only thing I'd change is the mount... does anyone have a list of mount ID"s? BOT keeps using Amani War Bear and it's a little too fat (rarely gets a little stuck - but it does get itself out).

Thanks for the feedback. A few more blacklists have been added in v1.2. That should further help reduce combat with mobs in the area. As for the mount, you can set this yourself in the Settings/Tools. Find a mount you own that is skinny and low to the ground and type that name into the Ground Mount slot under 'Settings/Tools'. Right now it sounds like Honorbuddy just randomly selected your Amani Warbear from your list of usable mounts.
 
Will this work with MIXEDBOT mode? If I do grindbot and bgbot?

First of all, go into bot config and tick ground mount farming mode, next go to settings and tools (make sure advanced mode is ticked) , scroll down to bottom and tick harvest minerals/harvest herbs
 
Thanks I got that figure out. I didn't notice the scroll bar before. Do you know if this will work with mixbot. I would like to grind and BG.
 
Still, after your update, my bot is up there again with the elites...

Added the blacklists to v1.3 I thought I had covered the area previously, but apparently not. I'm not able to test it currently, but will tomorrow when I have the time. Thanks for the coords.

Mixed Bot should work fine. Though if it doesn't, it's unfortunately just a bot problem that we won't be able to fix =/.
 
Hi m8!

This profile is awesome, thanks! But the bot is running to herb / mining nodes always skipping 'Silkweed's...my herb skill is 550 atm. Any idea for picking up silkweed's?

Please do a fresh install of HB, make sure it is fully updated. Download the latest version of this profile, then try it. If the problem persists post a FRESH log, so its easier for me to see the issue.

That isnt a profile issue, the profile has no control over what is gathered
