[N - Herb/Min] 73-80 Sholazar Basin Levelling 470k/h

For those who levelled gathering professions, one of the best ways to level is gathering. This is a levelling profile based on fly-gathering sholazar basin. With high prices of LK herb/ore, this might be a good way to do a 20k levelling (a day! eh eh eh).

This profile can take you from 73 to 80 in
19 hours of botting. I tried to avoid the most dangeous zones.

You can start it at level 73 (strong gear/class/CC), or at level 74+ (crappy gear). Tested with feral druid for 10 hours, zero deaths.

XP: 470k/h (with 30% bonus XP)
Output: ~147 nodes/h (druid with 280% mount)

great profile, about 440k/h as a human mage with a 280% flying mount (full heirloom : ring, head, back, shoulders and chest).

Definitely better than ArchBuddy (300k/h), Grinding (200k/h) or Questing (too buggy !!!

Getting like 430k/H with a DK. I have chest/shoulders for added XP.

I got to level 72 and decided questing was alittle to buggy still... and grinding too risky. Did mine/herb in about 4-5 hours yesterday. Today I hit 75 within 10 hours.

Seemed the best way to level up from 73-80 for me. Questing is really buggy and requires too much babysitting. Arch is still buggy (stucks), grinding is risky, but still second best option. I got 470k/h using:

- Tauren Druid
- FPSWARE druid feral CC
- Full heirloons (shoulder, chest, weapon, trinks)
- Guild perk
- Crappy green AH gear
- 280% mount

To level from 68 to 73 I used a mix of grinding (howling fjord) and this herbing profile attached below (maily gathering howling fjord). It gets about 230k XP/h from what i remember, but still gets you some gold while levelling (cobalt, goldclover and tiger lilly)...

When I dinged 80, bought a new set of cata greens from AH and used Uldum profiles (mining only at first to avoid river wasps+croc 2-mob pulls) all the way to 85...

Thats a smooth way to level from 68 to 85... but the way from 1-68 is indeed a crap. I tried to make a herb-mine levelling... Exception must be made to lvl 57-61 when doing hellfire ramparts will give you TONS of XP with all those DK tanking for easy fast queues.

Getting 330k/h here with lvl 70-71, running 2 hours so far. No deaths and I only have herbalism, cant imagine what the exp would be with mining

Though I dont know what I should do with the herbs Am lvl 76 now and already got 400 Adder's tongue and 150 goldclover/tiger lily stacks

Great profile, really great. One of the best profiles i've ever used actually, for gathering that is.
As i'm a ret paladin i decided to try it out at level 69 and it worked out great, i never died and i got alot of herbs and the best part was that i never DC'ed due to an error/stuck problem

I tried to avoid dangerous zones, such as the wasps packs or the eagles packs (which would kill easly a level 70sh).... still there might be some problems yet.

What we have seen, tho, is that palas, DKs, BM hunters, and probably Demo locks (although people seldom bot locks) can deal with much higher level mobs than other weak classes (mage, priest, rogue, etc). Shammys are also great, but that's BOBY53 and his marvelous SHAMWOW CC... not the class itself.
