Thank you to alaerwen and Hawairan! The modified profile still works pretty great! Got 2nd place on my first try today, on a low-med pvp server as alliance. I only had 28 fish when the first place was announced 15 minutes in. I won 2nd at 21 minutes. I think most gave up by then, but 3rd place was at 27 minutes. Started the profile on an island in NW stranglethorn and it fished from there down. Had a lot of other alliance jumping on my bobber lol, would have been impossible to do without the bot reeling in. Also got ganked by horde once and had to stop the bot a few times to manually fly north, away from the area of horde that it kept trying to move towards. It's really good at cancelling cast and mounting when the pool depletes; usually it's taking off before the pool graphic even fades lol. So all in all, very impressive!

Only improvement I'd note is if it could backtrack up the coast instead of always wanting to go in one direction. But I understand, that's just how GB and AA profiles work, on a one directional loop. Perhaps a way to have manual flight control; then the bot takes over steering, landing, fishing once it detects a pool. And that quick takeoff, 10 meters into the air after pool's depleted, then resume manual flight.

Edit: Tried again the following week. I put the bot on at the start of the tournament and had to afk to babysit. I came back a little too late, all the winners had been announced. But I counted in the logs and I caught 40 tastyfish with 35 seconds margin before the first place winner was announced this week. So if I were there, I think I could have taken first place with a quick hearth and turn-in. Profile is goood. Expecting to collect all the prizes within a month.

Woot, my first tournament today. i won second place. got my BoA ring. I wish it would of started in the north. when i was south( where the profile starts) alot of people were around. but once the bot went up north to ruins of Zul'Kunda it starting racking them up.

yea i think i lucked out with mine. ( took 28 mins) the first place guy was done when i was in the teens. Plus i didn't notice to many people from my realm around.

People had finished almost 10 minutes before. Unfortunately, I think this bot doesn't cut it. Unless you get REALLY lucky.
 
gonna try this soon, anyone have success with it lately? tried it and got first place best profile ever made
