[N - Achievement] Elders of the Dungeons (EK & Kalimdor)

For those interested in achievements, this profile will help you progress towards the Elders of the Dungeons. It collects the coins from the six dungeons located in 'Classic' Azeroth.

The profile should be '1-click' for Eastern Kingdoms, and '1-click' for Kalimdor. It takes care of travel, and zoning into and out of dungeons.

did you download the custom behaviours that it says in the post????

To use this profile, you will need to make certain you have these non-shipped Honorbuddy Custom Behaviors installed:

* Honorbuddy Custom Behavior: Message
* Honorbuddy Custom Behavior: RunMacro

You may download the code for each behavior from the corresponding Wiki page. You must installed the behavior into your <honorbuddy_install_directory>/Quest Behaviors directory.

EDIT: Tried it from SW -> Sunken Temple .... I'm lvl 85 yet it dismounts and kills mobs that stands close to the road. (Kill between Hotspots is unchecked).

Aye, this one is a simple profile--not a Bot (like Mr.LunarFestival). From the FAQ section in [wiki]Achievement-75-85-Lunar Festival-Elders of the Dungeons (Eastern Kingdoms-Kalimdor)[/wiki]:

* Can't you make the profile use flying?

We tried. However, the version of the ForcedMount Custom Behavior that ships with Honorbuddy 2.0.0.3895 is broken for QuestId="0".​

You don't know how sorry we are that ForcedMount does not currently work, as it would greatly speed up the travel time in some situations. So, one of two things will happen to address this:

• ForcedMount will be repaired for QuestId="0" in a drop very soon, and we'll go back in and alter the profile to use it, or
• Honorbuddy will have a flying plugin drop soon with full 3D navigation support, in which case we assume the <RunTo> tag would automatically take advantage of this, with no changes required to the existing profile.

At this time, we don't know which is more likely to happen first.

This is the way the <RunTo> tag works. Sometimes, its annoying like this, but in general it is conservative behavior, so I can't really complain. <RunTo> needs a few more attributes to tailor its purpose.

It runs to the elders, but does not pick up the quests. i did all the wiki said..

I saw this with Mr.LunarFestival a couple of times, but not with this profile. I tested this profile on 24 toons before releasing it, and never saw this happen once. Without a log, we can only guess at the problem. My guess is your working on a slow computer, or in a high-lag situation.

What is it reporting in your log?

• Cannot locate Elder Starsong--either he has moved, or its not Lunar Festival., or
• Elder Starsong offers no quests--we must've previously completed this., or
• Does it interact with the Elder and simply not pick up the quest?

For the first two situations, you might try locating the lines that look like <CustomBehavior File="RunMacro" Macro="/target Elder ..." WaitTime="1500" />, and change WaitTime from 1500 to 2500.

If its the last situation, you might try placing a...

<CustomBehavior File="WaitTimer" WaitTime="1500" />​

...between the BasicInteractWith and RunMacro custom behaviors for each Elder's interaction.

If one of the changes works for you, you'll have to make them for all six Elders contained in the profile. Sorry its not working for you.

What are the chances of supporting the northern dungeons?

Not good at the moment. My computer died, and I won't have a new one for a couple of weeks. I'm using a 2001-vintage laptop atm, that can surf the web, but that's about it.

If it looks like a level 85 or so can solo the Northrend dungeons, I'll give it a stab. If not, it won't fly because the Levelbot is not smart enough to move from a graveyard back into an instance by itself. There would be the problem with 'death loops' even if it could do this, and they couldn't be solo'd. I'll give it a look if my new computer arrives in time.

I am amazed at how flawlessly this profile ran!
Only issue I had was having to delete my mesh folder as it kept getting stuck, but when I deleted it and made a new one it worked perfectly.
Hope to see some more interesting profiles from you chinajade. Awesome work.
