Just gone onto D3 server to have a look. There are only a fifth accounts online at the moment.
Typically at this time the server should have at least 5000+ accounts online but now it's down to approximately 1200 accounts.
I can see D3 staffs sweating on their heads tomorrow trying to explain this decline to their directors over the coming days
The game developers are probably a whole other department than the ones who sent lawyers to gernamy. Maybe the game devs don't even know that this bot has been shut down - in which case they're gonna blame the player loss on patch 1.0.3. I wonder how long it'll take them to undo things again xD
Even if they did put the manpower they have no way of checking if the players that suddenly stopped actually are botters. As far as we know - this bot is still undetected, and if that's the case they can look as much as they want into my account. All they see is a player who farms Sarkoth alot. And if the bot is detected - then there's no reason to put manpower to it and it would also be a whole other topic than this conspiration thread.Well you are taking big leaps from not happening to sarcastic banned because of vacation. Actually nothing is holding them back to manually inspect accounts that stopped playing after DB went down. Obviously not an instant ban, but if they decide to give manpower to this I think they could.
If they do is another question though and for that they need to have the foresight to actually gather that kind of data, which we can actually only speculate about.
