I have used Honorbuddy:
to quest
to run BGs
to gather herbs from 1 to 525 in one day on a lvl 85 druid
to mine from 1 to 525 in one day on a lvl 85 hunter
to run multiple dungeons at one time each with a different character on a different computer, and
to simply goof around.

It has been better than any movie to watch my characters on a bot in a battleground. Sometimes they do crazy stuff that I would never do, like run directly into a small army of opposite faction when I came in late to an AV
However, it was exciting to watch how the opposition responded when the bot did not go down right away.
It was especially enjoyable to watch my feral druid kill 2 out of the 10 attackers before he finally went down (he was level 79 in cata gear). :-)

I look forward to seeing the bot return to its former condition, and I'm willing to wait to see that happen!

I did the same all in the beginning, but I rerolled and changed servers a lot so I don't have any 85s at the moment. I had a problem with PB after a few characters. Got stuck leveling mining and herb with A/H. Everything else has been great, only other thing that messed up was ArchaeologyBuddy, I didn't disable the node until later and it worked flawless.

I never sell mats from mining or herbalism. I have a blacksmith, an engineer, an alchemist, and a scribe to make inscriptions. So, most of my mining mats get used for products that eventually get placed on the AH or else get sent to my enchanter for disenchanting. Even then, I am fairly careful about what I put in the AH. I never put more than two items or two stacks of the same thing.

Most of my herbalism mats get used to provide free potions and free glyphs for the guildmates of the 3 different guilds that I am associated with. Keeping 3 different guild banks stocked can sometimes be a chore, but not a problem with a bot to do the herbalism
