Followed the instructions which were "Download the zip file into a folder on your desktop, unzip and run"

I did that, its utterly failed.

After much messing about, i figured what the instructions should have said was "Download the EXECUTABLE INSTALLER to a folder and unzip". I suspect t THAT misleading instruction alone must cause 50% of all the support tickets. However it installed, ran it got Error reports such as 'failed to initialise' and after a while the good old Microsoft "Tankleader has encountered a problem" and wanting me to send an error report.

Messed about with it more, noted it didnt tel lyou what order to start TL and WT in. Figure din the end you shoud lstart WT first.

Rejected the login key three times.

Finally ran it. Set it to auto aim, drove round, it aimed and fired in an illogical fashion, but worked. Once. That was it, Battle finished, into next battle, nothing, Stopped Working, game graphics lagging like mad.

Came out, looked at Sysinternals process Explorer. Barely any net traffic, but wheras WT was using 15% of my 2.8 Ghz dual core i5 processor, TL was now using 62% of processibng power. No womder the graphics were lagging. In fact the system was so bogged down by the CPU demand of TL, it couldnt even refresh its own screen to stop it. Had to kill the process to stop it.

Rebooted. Same again, worked fine first game as autoaim, immediately Battle ends, TL cpu demand bogs the machine down to a standstill, requiring a reboot to restore working PC. tried a third time , same thing.

I have filed three support tickets during this process, NOT ONE has replied other than the bot reply.

CONCLUSION:

Tank Leader is a heap of fucking shite, so badly written, so full of bugs, crashes and errors it doesnt even make an alpha test version. It doesnt do what the advert says, it barely works in any fashion. The support is non existent, does anyone even bother checking the ticket system ?

Its crap, and a scam. Nothing more

ive also had nothing but issues with this, im losing more credits, and gaining NO xp whatsoever, i can do 1000% better on my own. I figured hey a bot may not do AS good but at least be able to run it tday and gain a decent amount of xp and at least 2/3 of the credits i was gaining alone. Ive gained MAYBE 20-50xp per game and i have to spend more credits than i make to repair and reload my tanks. No matter what setting i use, it seems to like to spin in a circle OR do nothing as far as shooting goes. The issue youre having tho, is the aimbot, use default or others and it works just doesnt do fuck all, it wont crash either. but alas....still does....nothing

It works for me, but the results are.... medicore to say the least. I don?t want to know how many reports I got this night ;)

don't know how to use it then don't use it simple as that

^^Exacly^^ and make sure you have a decent computer to start with.

In my experience after using TL for 2 wks, I've made more than 20M in credit and gained over 20k in free EXP.

Trick is to use ONLY lower tier premium light tanks or medium tanks.

German: T-15, Pz S35, T-25, Pz 4S,

USSR: M3 Light, LTP, Tetrarch, T-127, Matilda.

USA: Lucust, T2 LT, T1E6

British: Matilda BP

Vehicles mentioned above are likely to get better results than others using TL.

Higher tier (above 5,6), non-premium vehicles have higher repair bills, less profit & EXP generating probability.

I never use TL to play artillery..

Light tanks and faster moving tank gain more credit & EXP when TL just rush the tank out to spot 1/2 of enemy team, quick dead raise less suspicion to get reported as bot.

Matildas are less likely to be top of the starting list and slow moving tanks w/decent armor and fast loading gun actually get kills.

I've also used premium heavy tanks like Pz B2, Churchill, Excelsior and T14.. but only when I monitor the progress of TL in battle, since they are more likely to be top tier tanks in random battles, using them will be more likely to get reported as Bot.

Start TL before I go to bed and check 6-7 hours later, I gain few hundred thousand in credit, few hundred free EXP and my regular tank crew gain few % in training.. TL works great for me... until 8.11 kicked in.

That's unfortunate. I am aware TL requires a fair amount of redistributables for its components to work, and requires the extended version of the .NET framework, but the installer should take care of all of that for you. The fact that it's using that much CPU also indicates that something didn't get loaded properly; there's probably a thread infinitely looping without doing anything. If you're still having these issues, drop me a line in PM and I'll help you in sorting out those problems and get you going, if you still want to, that is.

What's the problem since 8.11?
