My b.net got suspended cus of an ah-related issue

I had just registered the sms protect so I could start selling stuff and like an hour later my account got suspended.. Im playing on us server and my paypal account is Swedish so thats probably why.

Anyone else had their acc suspended cus of this? Do I get my account back if I remove my paypal acc from my bnet? And I did sell items for maybe 300 dollar. Are those transactions now cancelled?

Standard procedure to investigate RMAH using accounts - However if their is a problem with your paypal or credit - linked to fraud or blacklisted from any company - well that might be a problem

investigation typically takes 20 minutes to 24 hours - If they were to find you were botting in this time you might be banned. I've been investigated before - I just turned off bots/closed everything and went back to botting as normal when the investigation was over.

Edit: Due to the time you got the suspension - and this type of investigation comming with a suspension error - I am led to believe this is a standard investigation of the account mainly pertaining to your credit or paypal info and checks.

Edit again: I need to stress this sounds standard and is mainly to check to ensure you're not laundering money - using info linked to scamming/thievery/backcharging - they want to make sure you wont steal money - pay with stolen money - launder money - stuff like that.

Note: If they're going to ban you - they will just ban you - they wont suspend and than investigate - you may have been detected ages ago - it's irrelevant. This is standard.

Further Edit (because I keep thinking of more to add) Your paypal phone # and information should 100% directly match what you told blizzard and the account you use. If this information differs in any way - that could be a problem as they may suspect you are using someone elses info and possibly involved in criminal activity. How much this matters - I don't know. I'm sure plenty of people have information that varies.

Final Edit: I would not unlink them immediately - that would just send up red flags.

the only reason I can think of that your bnet would be suspended is if your paypal name does not match your bnet account name. Call them and they will unlock it, but it will keep happening in the future as long as your paypal name doesnt match

There are tons of threads on this in the diablo 3 forums, it's a pretty common ban. Just fix all the issues and you should be straight. They may investigate your account though, so if you've been doing hardcore botting you may get banned for that.

@ OP yes your transactions are all canceled, you'll have to get your account unlocked and then relist everything.

i've had this happen to me on four separate occasions and it was never a serious issue until recently I was laundering some cash from a bot's bnet balance to another bot's paypal balance. Both got the suspension email and I immediately submitted tickets for both. The one with the paypal got unlocked 8 hours later and for the bot account I got an email saying "unfortunately we have confirmed our initial findings, this account shall remain inaccessible, blah blah blah". I've really been scratching my head as to what they based their decision on since they other account didn't get popped as well. Sent several follow up tickets to no avail. If they checked to see if I was botting, then they should've noticed that on the other account too, right? Posted about this in ban section if anyone wants more info.

I had to call them when it happened to me. He got that shit unlocked quick and was nice about it.

Edit: I got the suspension because my IP Shows up as a city in the next state over ...always has... They said my account creditials didnt match where my geoip was logging me. Funny thing is I had sold hundreds of dollars worth on the RMAH and no action had been taken,...even bought gold several times. First time I went to buy an Item I got almost insta RMAH banned.

Edit: I wasnt even at home when I called. But my bot was running the whole time he unlocked my account. Muahahaha
