My advice on routine for the available profiles for dailies and quests

Hi All,

Just wanted to share my own experience with BW and some of the profiles that available in that section.

1) For just combat bot I personally recommend using the default combat routine, as it runs the smoothest for me.

2) For dailies that I run: The Black Hole and CZ-198 I use "Fighting At Joes"

3) For questing profiles I use "Fighting At Joes"


Using default for 2 and 3 I most of the time see the Bot running into the walls and getting stuck and not completing anything - With Fighting At Joes I see a 85-90% AFK Bot running (sometimes even 100% completing the daily profiles).

I have two BW folders on my PC ...one with only the default in the routines folder and one with only the fighting a Joes in the routines folder - For me this makes that bot much more flawless.


What I also ALWAYS do before starting up BW ... I delete everything under the folder "compiledassemblies" and all the character folders under settings - Removing these data makes that bot much for more stable and alot of the times it avoids stuff more often and goes in the right direction as well.

If I get the chance I'm going to see if I can find the rest routine in default combat. All the times I ran off into a wall was basically run was stuck and it was trying to rest. There needs to be a check if rest doesn't start to basically hit W and then try again to break the autorun. Not sure if I will be able to track down and fix but if I get some time I'll look.

Now I did find it pretty darn easy to modify the combat routines to crank up the dps on a char.

DefaultCombat was designed for easy editing, so user could tweak settings and so people could keep the rotations updated when Ama left.

2 & 3) FightAtJoe's fights the mobs really badly and with a lot of delays on skills. I checked the average damages and its really poorly. Face it. The damage is around half of what DefaultRoutine makes. So that is slow in leveling and also dailies. Probably need twice the time for leveling with Joe's than Default. Even if its more AFK. You are wasting time anyway...

Just my two cents. Could be wrong though...

im not talking combat wise, im talking about additions to utilise repairdroid or pods. stuff like that. Anyways i took that in to my wishlist a few days back, maybe its implemented in the core.
Still leaves us to 3 rotations builds, what you guys think? Hell we can code it in perfectly by just using sorta if statements for if below lvl 50 or if in a specific pvp zone / detect pvp.

zone detect should work, could do rotation on mob type as well for OP rotation.

My biggest issue and why I used joes so much is default combat doesn't have good low level rotations, that could be done with more level detecting on the abilities though. Default paths better and moves faster but if moving when a mob dies the silly thing tries to rest and forgets to stop and it gets all buggered running into walls.

I dont disagree with you, but there are alot of post from ppl who can get BW to do anything - I'm only giving my advice on how to get it to run more smoothly AFK-wise. Default routine does not run the (currently) available questing profiles og daily profiles very well navigating around, but joes does that much better for some reason.

Personally with work and home obligations I dont have much time to be "non-afk", so running the above mention profiles gives me some extra credits and levels som alts for me in that time, and thats why I use the bot.

Also I think alot of ppl have tried honorbuddy and come with the hope that this bot is of the same functionality and easy-to-use quality, and this not the case, but I try to help as best I can with my limited knowledge. My reasoning being that if some more ppl start using BW maybe they will put more ressource into adding functionality to BW and the community will grow and maybe the profiles will be updated and new great ones will be created.

Just hoping.

Come to think of it, its actually easy to enhance current advanced classes with spells, which are obtained during leveling.
The biggest problem is if there is no advanced class selected (level 10 or below) and then going into the advanced class, you miss to much spells.
If we add these in advanced with expressions like < level 47 or something like that, we could do much better. Plus structure doesnt have to be altered!
For PVP i would throw it under, PVP zones rather then pvp buff. Do we have a list of pvp zones anywhere or can someone dump it? We can then take some of nexis's work into this one.

My Thoughts on that. Well people like me come and try BW, and find out its lack of content, the need for proper skills and time to master them.
Its not user friendly. People will not pay for something they can't use. So, no money, no investment, we go on circles.
This is more like a money grab thing.

I appreciate the work from you guys. especially Michael and Cryo. But i really think we need to see more from Buddystaff.
