Today I played World of Tanks for a little while then logged off when I went to log back in it said "Your account has been suspended: Reason chap. 4 (Inappropriate conduct in game), par. 6 of the world of tanks game rules. Does suspended mean banned permanently?

no it means you were calling people fags or nazis.

When I log into worldoftanks.com and go to account management then move my mouse over my account it says permanently blocked. When I log in on the game client it says suspended And as far as I know suspended does not have the same definition of banned. I read in the rules that my account would be completely deleted if I were to be banned. So I don't know why I can still log in on the website.

Suspended and banned are the same thing, and it's from inappropriate behaviour rather than botting.

Here is the conversation I had with customer support:

I logged into world of tanks today and it said my account was suspended for chapter 4 par. 6 of EULA. I would like to know if I was banned permanently and why? I never used a bot, clicker, macro whatever all that software is. I put a lot of effort into getting my tanks and spent a lot of money on the game and expect an explanation.

Dear Player,

Thank you for contacting World of Tanks Support.

Repetitive and excessive passive play within World of Tanks is a serious offense which greatly diminishes the enjoyment of 29 other players within the game, each game. As such sanctions for such activity can only be as serious with a permanent game ban that can only be removed through an account wipe to reset the progress made by this unfair play.

Due to the situation being of such a serious nature, a great degree of thoroughness and care is taken before any sanctions are placed.

The account holder is responsible for their account, and there is no doubt from the game statistics that the account had been used for excessive and repetitive passive (afk) playing. As such the sanctions on the account will remain with the only exception being that the account sanctions can be removed upon the wiping of the account.

The account "wipe" would mean that your account will be restarted from the beginning and you will lose all your experience, history, stats, and non-premium tanks. You will NOT lose any of your gold or premium tanks. If you wish to proceed with the account wipe, please reply to this message with a confirmation.

Best Regards,
Jessica Lee

Dear Jessica Lee,

I don't understand how and why my stats can get me banned. I also don't understand how someones game play style can get them banned. I have never joined a game and left my tank at the spawn on purpose. In my opinion stats don't tell you if a player is joining games and not moving. I don't see how it can be fair if there is no clear proof of passive play on the account, I don't think when banning a player one should just assume that they were joining games and then abruptly leaving. If you have proof please present me with it otherwise I don't see any reason for the banning of my account.

When you mentioned: "The account holder is responsible for their account, and there is no doubt from the game statistics that the account had been used for excessive and repetitive passive (afk) playing. As such the sanctions on the account will remain with the only exception being that the account sanctions can be removed upon the wiping of the account."

How do my stats tell you whether or not I was "afk" for an extended period of time? If it is my games:kills ratio its not fair if just because I don't get a kill every game that it means I'm making it unfun for other players. I aim to damage enemy players and not always kill them because I think it helps out the team in the end. If the assumption was because of my win:loss ratio I can say I played a lot of public matches alone (not platooning) where in World Of Tanks it is very common for my team and I to lose the battle. I don't think a win loss ratio of %42 to %56 is that bad considering what I just said.

In conclusion If there is not even a remote chance I can get all of my legitimate hard work back I would be devastated. I have definitely spend over $500 on World Of Tanks and I'm sure there is proof on that. I would also view it has a period of my life wasted for nothing because "There is no doubt from the game statistics that the account had been used for excessive and repetitive passive (afk) playing." I hope that the EULA rules can be improved in the future for the sake of many legitimate players who have lost everything they put into the game, and not have a rule where a player can be banned based on their game statistics not being perfect.

Thank you,
Conner Andrews

Then they responded with this:

Dear Conner13,

Thank you for getting back to us regarding this matter.

Please be advised that we do, indeed, track statistics such as distance traveled, shots taken, and shots hit (both enemy and friendly) for the battles that take place on our servers.

Again, your only option is an account "wipe." Please respond to this email stating whether you agree to said wipe or not.
Thank you for your understanding, we look forward to hearing back from you.

Best Regards,
Jessica Lee

It seems to me that you are violating game rules you are TK player and trash talking kid.

i guess that's pretty fair decision, AFK players should be punished :)
