If I buy the key for 3 Sessions, can I run 2 of then on one PC and the other one on another pc with a different IP? Or do do they all need to be on the same machine? And can I upgrade my key from 1 to 3?

Any Machine, Same IP. Unless you buy
1X, 1X, 1X, then you can run each 1X on a different ip.
if you buy the 3X it's 3 connections from the same ip and so on.

That's not true.
Multi Session Keys work with multiple IPs. The IPs need to be in the same region though. EU - Asia - NA etc
