Yes, the location of Archebuddy.dll is different on your computer.

In Visual Studio, in the Solution Explorer:

-Right click References
-Add Reference
-Browse... find your Archebuddy.dll file
-Do this for both mCore and mDebug projects
-Retry build
 
Nice, figured it was something simple.

Can't wait for the house scanning stuff.
On the plus side it works with one I've been using for a while now so that's a good alternative to populate the spots right now.

Would it be possible to add an always on top toggle? I use the full screen windowed mode DLL from reddit that was approved by Trion and if i tab out the radar goes as well.

Oh yes, if you have other methods of house scanning, including walking up and hitting 'F', the colors will update. I can re-enable the "Export" button if you want that copy & paste to google sheets feature.
 
That may be a bit helpful. I assume there's a cache of some sort that gets cleared with showing them on the radar in big housing areas? I've noticed in big housing areas, if I walk from one area to another, it forgets what plots are green/red and shows as grey with ? mark on them as though they were never scanned.

Perfectly fine if that's a limitation of the game, or how you designed it, very understandable ;)

I had accounted for this and cached the houses myself so it wouldn't forget. But that is part of the scanner I removed. I want to make a new scanner that remembers such data in a database so it will persist even between game sessions.

Sounds like an awesome idea, good luck with that, I love it so far :D
I just have to get used to the cursor rotating instead of the map, very nice though.

New updates out, few bug fixes and color changes. House scanner available. I'm making it "paid" because I think it's quite novel, but choose your own price.

I can make the radar rotate instead of player rotate easy, will do it soon.

dont make radar rotate . instead make background of the map so we see it in colors xD
 
Updated to 0.9:

-Real Estate will now disappear when Show Real Estate is unchecked
-Some support for other 24x24 buildings. Needs more testing
-Trees that have fruited will have red fruit bubbles
-Tradepacks fixed! Players carrying tradepacks will also be flagged
-Sunken Treasure and Old Jars now searched for. Always on, like Thunderstruck, IF any other doodad selected (tree,plant,uproot,or packs).
-Fish Schools might show up. Thanks to ANT radar for being open source. Don't know if it works, I don't even have a boat.

Check the source page for new download link and new source code.

For safety purposes, keep the log window open while playing. If it crashes or throws exception discontinue use, and show me the logs through PM.

it sure is prettier than V2 but lacks V2s usability/features.
a lot of on/off (toggle) features are not there...yet(?).
so in direct comparison its far more basic.
i wait with my donation until it at least matches or even succeeds V2 since i already donated there.

oh,and please..please...replace the tree/plant/whatever symbols with dots!
if you have symbols you lack precision.
example V2, it has an integrated cross-hair (not very pretty but hey..it serves a purpose) and with trees ie being dots on the map you can navigate to them dead center/precise.
with mRadar here you are off 1-5 m ,depending on circumstances.

and yes,those 1-5m can cost you a thunderstruck if someone else saw it first

I have to say I kind of disagree I prefer the symbols. If everything looks the same there is no way to differentiate between node types. If anything I think a toggle would be nice for people that prefer dots vs the way it is now.

Actually if you wanted you could probably just make thunderstruck use a different symbol all together as well.

I actually like being able to see at first glance if a tree is fruited or not or if its tree vs a plant.
To each their own. Probably a good compromise in there to be had. ☺

Also perhaps a distance toggle in meters for nodes too? Would help for cramped ore areas and the like in elevated terrain.

a compromise would be the ability to have fruited trees in a different color. dots or no dots.
still..please dots at least as option :)
dots+names on i find best personally, but everyone to their opinion,whatever works for you.
 
Won't this house scanner still get you flagged and possibly banned? Do you only use the scanner on throwaway accounts expecting to get banned?
