MP0 vs. MP1 in act3

According to this,1: MP1 with 55k dps buff Barb WW has a significantly higher iLvl 63 Legendary drop rate if i'm not mistaken. It actually DOUBLES the drop rate of these iLvl 63 legendaries.
 
Are you getting less legendary drop rates since patch?
 
i really cant decide whether to do mp0 or mp1. my monks dps is like 107k unbuffed. and with breath of heaven im at 131k dps.

i ran mp1 last night got no good loot but it is RNG. my barb found good stuff on mp0 but hes crappy geared. im going to try mp1 one more time then switch back if no good results

Plz report with results. Try to post the stats from the stats.txt in giles also would be nice to se im also having troubles deciding with mp0 or mp1. I have a feeling leg/rare drop more from white mobs on mp0 bat thats just a feeling :P

I’ve seen this question come up pretty often, so I’m happy to oblige. I hope this helps!

Inferno Difficulty with No Monster Power (aka MP 0):

Act I = Monsters are level 61
Act II = Monsters are level 62
Act III = Monsters are level 63
Act IV = Monsters are level 63

As soon as you set Monster Power to MP1 or higher, all monsters will become level 63 (in all Acts) and they’ll all share the same item drop tables and drop rates. You can find even more information here: Monster Power: More Guts, More Glory - Diablo III
 
Consesus on a recent post on incgamers to d3 item farming was this:

Act1: MP1
Act2: MP1
Act3: MP0
Act4: MP0

You want to have all monsters on level 63 yet maintain highest killspeed; higher mf and the additional dropchance of higher MP levels is not worth the loss of killspeed.

So I have my bots cruising through Act3 at MP0 atm
