my toons is moving back and forth evry time in a battle and sometimes getting stuck. help?

depending on what class you have it may be trying to kite, or avoid some elemental damage, like an arcane thing. my mink does that when its trying to avoid something. If its doing it in act 1, then it may be trying to kill a dragonfly that hasnt popped out fo the ground yet. mine does that sometimes too.
